Ming Xin Coffee House — Restaurant in Borneo

Have already been here a few times, previously was pleased with the food and service however lately not so. Food portion getting smaller, and service is slower.

Today really tested my patience though, ordered 2 dimsums and 2 sets of economic rice. Rice came and me and my son ate, but even until our rice finished our dimsums have not come out. I did ask the waitress halfway during our meal where is our dimsum and she said on the way but even 10 mins later no signs of it. Went to the cashier to ask and the waiter and waitresses there were saying already sent blablabla turns out it was sent to the wrong table. I just cancelled my dimsum as we have already finished eating (they didn't even say sorry or anything), and was about to do payment when they said minimum RM50 for card payment. This enraged me again as previously I've always come here and even with less than RM50 total I was able to pay by card. The cashier said it was the office's decision and they can't do anything about it. Had to drive all the way to Boulevard area to take cash then come back again to pay.

I've already lodged a complaint to BNM about the minimum limit imposed so hopefully action...

Venue wise, Highly recommended to meet up for business meet-ups with clients or colleagues as it’s clean and well air conditioners.

Staffs were attentive and professional.

Food wise, ordered dim sums and fried radish and lemon chicken rice or butter,(cant remember )and tomyam mihun soup.. dim sums and the fried radish were amazing.. The rice dish was disappointing .. very bland.. and portion not proportionate to its price. Tomyam was easily 7/10.. perhaps a lil oomph needed to make it a solid 10..

I went there with my mum for dinner and we ordered kue teaw goreng basah (fried flat rice noodles with sauce) and goreng Tom yam bee hoon (fried tom yam rice vermicelli noodles). When the food came, we got fried yellow noodles instead of flat rice noodles. I had to correct the order, and the staffers were kind enough to make another fried flat rice noodles.
