My go to restaurant whenever I’m in Likas / Plaza Kingfisher. They offer a wide variety of food and even opens for early breakfast! These 3 hearty meals really feeds our soul.

Since this is a Chinese kopitiam restaurant, some of its dishes are non-halal. They do serve bbq pork and roasted pork but usually it’s out of stock if you come in late.

I’d say peak hours for this restaurant is around midday especially on a Friday. If you’re in the area early morning, I really recommend their fried rice tops with some fried chicken munchies, sunny side up egg, and an optional grilled eggplant. This is my usual breakfast combo that led me to a food coma for a few hours 😂

Parking wise, first come first serve basis and after 9AM - 5AM you need to use a DBKK parking coupon.

Price wise it’s not expensive but this current economy who’s to say it...

The lady in charged (there are two, the other is friendly to be fair) is very unfriendly and only wanted the kitchen to concentrate cooking a la carte dishes and those takeaways. We were there waiting for our rice dishes 40 minutes and noticed those who came in later to order takeaways getting their orders done first. When i complained, she rudely said those takeaways are waiting. So were we... And we ordered first. She grumbled as if she did nothing wrong and we are ones that liked to complain. With this kind of attitude, i only hope you change fast otherwise i would not blame people not patronising your shop when they have more...

15.7.22 After visting TARC UC, wanted to have lunch nearby & to wait for the Friday jam to clear. Therefore, ended up at Kingfisher area & join in the crowd at Happy Restaurant. Ordered 2 Lou Da Mee & Fried wet noodle. I was surprised that the variety of rice & noodle dished this place has...Order was fast & cooking is even faster, all our dishes were delivered quite fast! It was a good place to dine, food were tasty & with right amount of meat & other condiments. Definitely will come back to try other...
