Botanica Mansion — Restaurant in George Town

Visited for snack time. Ordered fries, seafood bisque food, half dozen escargot on bruschetta, and homemade satay, with coffee, chamomile tea and honey dew juice. Some more common f&b are not in the menu, you might have to ask the staff.

Thumbs up for the seafood soup. Creamy and flavourful. We can taste the diced onion in it. Suitable for sharing as the portion was quite generous. Satay was also good. Just like what the male staff/owner highlighted, it's so well marinated in a way that doesn't require any dipping sauce to go with.

Fries was average but the tar tar sauce was good, very refreshing with faint sweetness. Escargot on bruschetta was ok but would prefer lesser minced garlic on top.

Environment and interior was eye-catching. Furniture was glamorous and quite a few photogenic corners. Good to spend time here if you're nearby, as it is located quite far away from the crowd. Free parking available. Price is on the high side but still within...

Never thought in my mind, Balik Pulau will have this kind of placeses. All I can think off is about durian, paddy and beach. But this place have a small river infront of their mansion(very beautiful and calm), some big bird cried out loud (geeezz), and beautiful stairs up to the mansion. But i never had the chance to go up there because im not paying or book or staying a night there, im only goes for photoshoot and outside the mansion. But overall by my guess, this place might be the place for rich people to take a brake, and have good time there. Its look like British 1950 century building, so its kind of similar with some of the Cameron Highland building. By the way, please check out my ig shafiqkhairollah....

Botanica Mansion can easily be the new landmark in Balik Pulau with its "multipurpose" refurbished mansion, a smoke house bungalow, a clubhouse and a restaurant. It consists of 4 distinctive guest rooms with two larger rooms located inside the double storey smoke house. The ultimate guest room is called "Smoke House" which is on the first floor with room size of about 818 sq ft (equivalent to size of some Penang apartments).
