We were excited to try this beachfront coffee place and arrived before 7pm.
Parking was difficult as the space was limited. Be warned!
We submitted our orders promptly, and we were immediately joined by our niece and her family who just arrived from KL — so a total of 7 adults and 2 children. We ordered 6 drinks initially, and the kids were quite hungry and looking forward to some food.
First, the positive: the gentleman managing the parking and seating was extremely helpful and friendly. He made sure we had enough tables and chairs for our group — thank you for the great service. We really appreciate it.
However, the overall experience was unfortunately disappointing. We had to queue to submit our orders and make payment. But the wait for our drinks was more than an hour. They arrived slowly and in stages, with the first drink served well after 8pm. Meanwhile, we saw other customers who arrived after us receive their meals, ate and leave — which was frustrating. We went back and forth to the counter asking about our orders at least 4 times after half and hour wait has passed. There were only 2 coffees in our order, mind you!
The children were not allowed to order any pizza or pasta due to a reported kitchen backlog. We were told the kitchen would only start taking food orders after 8pm, but even after that time, the kids were still turned away despite asking repeatedly. It was especially difficult since they were hungry and we had expected at least some food options.
To add to the frustration, my hot chocolate came in a half-filled cup. When i showed them what i received, they offered to make a new cup for me. While we appreciate the complimentary strawberry lemonande drink delivered last minute to our table as an apology, it didn’t quite make up for the overall wait and unmet expectations.
The location and ambiance have great potential, but the service delays and lack of communication really affected our experience.
I hope the management takes this feedback constructively — especially when hosting larger groups or families with children. Also taking more than one hour to prepare and serve 6 drinks seems quite ridiculous. I would say totally...

I went straight to this place after work, all the way from Georgetown. I hadn’t eaten all day and spent 1.5 hours in a Grab, which wasn’t cheap, but I was excited to try their food, so I didn’t mind.
I arrived around 6:30 PM and ordered buffalo chicken from the female staff. I waited for over 30 minutes, which was fine since the place seemed busy.
BUT THEN. I noticed the cashier glancing at me and whispering to the kitchen staff. It looked like they were talking about my order, so I assumed, "Oh, maybe they finally realized I’ve been waiting."
Another 5–10 minutes passed, and I was getting starving. So I went to the counter to check on my food.
AND GUESS WHAT?
The staff casually told me my order was sold out—after making me wait for almost an hour without informing me. Are you kidding me??? I’m not trying to be difficult, but after everything, the long trip, the wait, the patience, not even a simple heads-up?
The worst part? We had eye contact earlier. She knew I was waiting. If my order was sold out, why didn’t she tell me then instead of letting me sit there like an idiot? Ya Allah, aku geram kebulur.
I was disheartened and genuinely asked, "Kenapa tak inform?". She casually said “Sorry kitchen pun bagitahu dekat kita tadi”, and asked if I wanted to order something else. I questioned her "Tapi buffalo chicken customer yang lambat sampai dah dapat dulu?" YO GURLL you just didn't bother to inform me at my table after talking to the kitchen crew but proceeded to be chatty with another guy crew at the counter afterward??? Wait… did you expect a customer to come to the counter and ask about the status? Dang, I would rot myself until closing if I didn't ask her myself…
Also, she asked if I wanted to order something else. After almost an hour, do you expect me to wait again (if I order again)? No thanks. I asked for a refund and got my dinner elsewhere.
No genuine apology. No compensation. Just a waste of time and money.
For the record, this happened on February 28, 2025. And to the owner: I’ve read other reviews complaining about the same thing. Fix your system.
I wouldn’t recommend this...
Read moreHad the worse experience ever. Arrived and asked the counter if there's available seatings but they said "to order first and they will prepare table". Had us wait standing up for 30min and a waitress has already delivered one of our order - pasta. She was lost as to where to even place it down since we still didnt get a table that was promised. Knew that the situation was worsening since more people were queueing and orders were piling in. They were dozens of drinks at the front counter itself since even before we arrived. Their service system was super BAD. They didnt even have a numbered system so ones who came earlier waiting may have their 'promised' table taken by later incoming customers. It was hectic. At some point, a customer had to take letfover finished plate from previous table to the front counter just to get a seat. Noticed that there were no apologies from the guy. A customer also packed to takeaway, after 10min only to find that the front counter say their takeaway wasnt there anymore and replaced with drink. Me on the side noticed after another 5min the waitress came with that said takeaway and the counter said "she left already nevermind" whereas the customer was clearly at the front of the store taking some pics. Our side, with our pasta on our hands still with no table decided to take all our orders as takeaways too. There goes another 30min to figuring out what else were missing each time a dish is given. They didnt even have a proper pizza box - flat squared you normally get. They had to cut ours in half and place it in a small container.
Their tag line "support local" really dissapoints us. They were even tourists and can clearly see from their faces it was a dissapointment.
Food wise, The food and drink we ordered were below average. Pizza had no taste. Pasta and buffalo...
