Bee Ghah Kafe 美雅 — Restaurant in George Town

I love it so much 😍 We go there today around 11am. It is an old kopitiam which give you some 80,90 vibes ( cannot deny that this shop looks old, a little bit dark and the furniture old...somehow...you can say it is....vintage style....but don't judge a book by it cover!!! Belum cuba belum tahu, sekali cuba tiap tiap hari mahu). The butter coffee is kaw and aromatic 👍. The roti khawin is nicely baked and not over sweet. Each of us order the bread, coffee and two soft boiled egg. The price is affordable in my opinion!!! Can consider as cheap and they didn't compromise on the quality of the food. Luckily, I manage to order nasi kandar (I don't know what it is called, the famous one open at night...heard that they are brothers...) It tastes good 😋 The amount of spice used for the food is enough and it is yummy. I will come visit again and recommend it...

Tucked away in a small town, this little coffee shop sells pretty decent breakfast food like kaya butter toast, butter coffee, half boiled eggs and for those who prefer heavier meals, may try the nasi kandar but there was a queue right in front of the stall, so I guess it’s probably good?

The toast was crispy, the eggs were just nice & there’s no fishy smell and the coffee was pretty good too (like creamy taste). What I don’t like is the service here, it’s rather slow and they lack of staff. Also, parking is limited.

That being said, I kinda like the atmosphere here, it gives off a nostalgic vibe, like you’re dining in your grandparents’ home. The service may be lacking, but I will still come back here...

Loved the rustic ambience of the coffeeshop, and the elderly owners who are siblings are extremely friendly and soft spoken. You must have their local coffee with a dollop of butter, it's so creamy with a sweet & salty taste. Besides that, they also serve toasted Bengali bread with homemade Kaya.

In the coffeeshop, you will find 2 nasi kandar stalls; Nasi Kandar Daud which sells from 7.30am till 11am and the other, Nasi Kandar Nathrah which starts from 6.30pm till 10pm. Both offer really aromatic and delicious dishes, amongst all, the Fish Curry and Daging Cincang..ultimately delicious!
