Visited this restuarant the lady taking order was visablly rude. Ordered according to our dietry requirements. Specifically mentioned NO PRAWNS in a specific dish, was consequently served balachan on the specific dish. The lady then proceed to lie and say it is VEGETARIAN balachan, which we initially accepted to be then confounded by a piece of tiny shrimp. The lady who took our order then refused to accept said tiny shrimp existed, my aunt who did not have the dietry requirement had to spit out from her mouth said shrimp to proove there was said shrimp. The lady then rudely and hurriedly whisked the plate away and made groaning sound to then follow up with delivery of a re-cooked version of the dish according to initial dierty requirement specified, as in, garlic fried version. Upon settling the bill next to the offending dish the number was crossed out and re-written (all written in Chinese) a new number. When I asked why the only number crossed out was the one they got the order wrong, they were unable to come up with a co-herent response. We were charged 25 RM for a plate of fried vegetable. When again confronted about above incident the rude lady then proceed to say there was NO SHRIMP in the dish. She even brought the chef out to I assum lie for her, which he did not do. He only sought to calm the incident. When we insisited that there was shrimp in the dish and she was shown said shrimp she completely denied. So I am wondering why did she take said dish away and re-fry and create more work for herself if she had not seen the shrimp....all through out we were ok to pay the bill, only that found it very suspicious the inital fee was crossed for a new fee. Still I dont mind paying but this lady's complete denial and refusal to accept any mistake on her part when 1 - She accepted the order was made with our needs mentioned 2 - She lied to say it is veg balachan 3 - She refused to accept its a schrimp until my aunt had to spit it out from her mouth to show her 4 - She proceeds to re-fry this dish WITHOUT US ASKING HER TO DO SO 5 - She changes original price of the dish 6- Denied point 1 7- Refused to say sorry
All things considered food was bare minimum ok. Please do not visit if you have dietry needs. They are rude and insensitive and if they make a mistake, which they seem to be doing they refuse to take responsibilty. So if you get an allergic reaction its just an extra service they...
Read moreThis Chinese kopitiam is on the same row as KFC sungai ara , went by early before 5pm for early dinner . The yo-yo seafood stall starts 5pm onwards so they did inform on the waiting duration , however upon ordering and paying they served the food at 5.10pm itself which was quite fast 💯 They have many other stall in this place from economy rice , nasi lemak , char koey teow and many more . However I ordered Chinese fried rice and sizzling tauhu . The Chinese fried rice tasted different than other stalls and the portion of one was big enough for two . Definitely yummy and worth for RM6 💰 The sizzling tauhu was my favourite as it came in hot plate , very flavourful , huge portion and the tofu was fresh. It cost RM15 and it’s a definite must try ✅ As time passes by the crowd comes in , hence the seatings are limited and for the Penang weather it was quite hot inside . Otherwise the food was good and most probably will pack...

The crowd here is not much, so you can get seats pretty easy and quick. Parkings are very very limited not because they come here to eat but they go to the kopitiam beside to eat. Conclusion, not...
