A converted house — classic local style where someone went, “You know what? Let’s just turn the house into a restaurant,” and it totally works.

The food? Solid. It’s your familiar, comforting Chinese fare — nothing overly fancy or experimental, but well-executed and satisfying. You know it’s good when the place is packed during dinner time and there’s an army of staff buzzing around to keep things moving. Dishes come out fast, hot, and tasty — a blessing if you’re starving and not in the mood to wait.

Judging by the crowd and high table turnover, it’s clear the locals love it, and honestly, so do I. It’s dependable, down-to-earth dining.

Now… let’s talk about parking. Or rather, the lack of it. Getting a spot here is like winning a small lottery — the traffic outside is chaos, with cars squeezing through a two-way street where everyone parks on both sides like it’s totally normal. You’ll need patience, luck, or a Grab. Probably all three.

In short: Great food, fast service, local charm — just brace yourself for the parking battle...

My first time actually, recommended by my husband and his colleagues. They came here during lunch hour. Slight reminder, I reckon you call and make reservations first if not you might need to wait to get a table if you come during peak hours. Lunch or dinner time. There's indoor (air conditioned) and outdoor seating. The chu char was good! Reasonable price and portion. There were 5 of us, we took all 5 dishes small. It was also alot for us, quite filling already. I think their signature dish was the raddish steam fish, salted egg mantis prawn, stout chicken. Must try! Highly recommended for families that loves...

Generally, their food is tasty. Based on the 5 dishes, 4 are above average except on Curry Fish Head. Their seatings setup have air-conditioning and outdoor with air ventilation systems. If they are looking to heighten the customer’s satisfaction to next higher level, they can look into their Curry Fish Head dish…by reducing the oil use, add in more flavor and aroma into their curry paste and cook the fish heads in the paste curry soup much longer instead of cook the fish heads”outside” before put it into the curry soup. Definitely will come back to taste their other signature dishes. Note: Their food servings...
