阿嬷好料 Ah Ma Ho Liao @ Merdeka Permai — Restaurant in Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council

This shop replaces the ''Nanyang Kopitiam''. It was quite difficult to find even though it's located at the corner lot due to the signboard visibility which doesn't appear from the main road turning from the traffic lights.

The food quality was okay but it could have been better. I'd recommend their organic soya instead. The food portion was surprisingly big and you could definitely get full with just one plate of chicken chop rice. Other than that, the shop offers you plenty of food options in which you won't get bored to try out different food should you visit there once again.

The staff were very friendly as well. They are mostly foreign workers who can barely understand Malay so you may need to use some simple English to communicate with them. However, there are also some Chinese staff there.

Food is served quite slowly. We finished the toast and sandwich and the mee siam is still not served. They did a good job by covering the foods when taken out from the kitchen, but choose to let it sit for 5 min before sending them to my table 🙂

Food wise, sandwich and toast taste ok, the mee siam taste a bit bland, can be more spicy. The drinks are not as good as they look especially the hor ka sai.

Finally, when paying, the first staff seems like don't know how to operate the POS machine, ask for second staff to help but miscommunicated, I stood at the counter for more than 5 minutes to...

Horrible. Visited the tengkera branch. Ordered 2 drinks & 1 toast which cost me almost rm20. But I HAD TO WAIT 50MINS FOR THAT 3 ITEM. in the end, decided to take away the toast but when I went to ask, they HADN'T MADE IT altho they told me multiple times its on the way.

During that time, my parking ticket expired, but as I was trying to renew the ticket (the app super slow!!) kena SAMAN after just 3 mins over time.

End up, that 2 drinks & 1 toast cost me rm50 & a trip to MBMB to pay my saman.

May be just a bad day. But waiting 50mins for absolutely mediocre food is still...
