New Century Hotel Melaka, Malacca — Hotel in Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council

The pictures and real life are polar opposites!!!, honestly I thought OYO was the 'non-family' hotel, but this hotel is even worst than OYO. Let me start of with the location, it is surrounded with bars and pubs and situated 10km+ from the city. Yes, there are mamak shops nearby for food but other than that, sorry to say you either have to go further or just stay put in the room. Besides that, it's sooo secluded, families should stay far from here. Next, the amenities. Never have I ever given a wifi connection this bad that using mobile data feels like heaven. The wifi is also on and off and the line here is just out of the world. Continuing with the room, like I said, better book OYO than this hotel. Cheaper, better looking rooms I guess. It's old and the sheets looks like it's been through WWII. I could give some credits for the aircond and the friendly receptionist tho. If by somehow you really wanna book this hotel by no choice, I recommend not to go out of your room after 10pm. Lastly, waking up with the sound of kids running and screaming and banging the door is just pure symphony to ears. Due to holiday seasons, other hotels are fully booked so I made the biggest mistake by booking this hotel. Not to discriminate the hotel, but it is purely out of my experience in this hotel and I've stayed in countless hotels...

The hotel is out of reach the exciting places to visit . Unfriendly staff and amenities insufficiency . Numerous people turned up as I was relaxing at the lobby . By a closer look it seemed the hotel provides ladies for fun . Wow , good choice may be but very indecent for a hotel to run a side trade like this . Well make it first and last visit by all means . No one expects this but it clearly gives you a window to how a hotel can flourish and gets...

Room is very small, suitable for sleeping only. There us no wardrobe. If you have baby, look elsewhere, since the bed is only suitable for 2 adult and the floor is not carpeted. My baby fell down from the bed. There are stain in the bedsheet, while i was staying there. Free parking is only during public holidays or from 9am to 5pm in other days. Lot of eateries nearby and Tesco is opposite...
