This place was famous due to its 'Mee Racun'. I don't know is there any real dish of Mee Racun or only this place have it.
The place is quite secluded compared to other famous restaurant in Melaka. So, it is quite easy to get parking. This place is also easy to be found using Google Maps.
I ordered Mee Racun, priced at RM12. One portion can be eaten for two people, if they are not really hungry. The portion is big, and fit with the price. Mee Racun, for me, it is like Mee Hailam and it is spicy due to white pepper sprinkled on the dish. The gravy itself is not that spicy if the white pepper is not included.
Mee Racun consists of Mee, gravy, beef, chicken, fish ball, fried egg and some vege. It is very tasty, 5/5 for the food. I would recommend this dish to be tried. For the drinks, I ordered Mata Kucing (iced) priced at RM4 and also suitable with the price because the real mata kucing is included and there are about 6-7 pieces of them.
All in all, this place is recommended for people who came to Melaka for good food. Although it might not be a Melaka specialty dish, it is good at it...
Read moreServed 'self-serviced' buffet breakfast only. A variety selection of local dish and english breakfast. Local dish served were fried kueyteow, fried beehoon, fried rice, fried chicken, ayam kicap, nasi lemak, lontong, mee/beehoon kari, mee/beehoon sup, soto nasi, roti bakar, half boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, french toast, salad, kopi o, teh o and plain water. I guess there'll be a rotation of dishes. There's also a coffee kiok offering a variety of coffee/latte. (not included in the buffet pricing). Personally, for the amount paid, it is value for money. The only small set back is the limited seats (indoor and outdoor) so each customer is given 1 hour, which is fair. There's no 'time keeper' but customers have to be considerate. I will definitely visit the...
Read moreI highly recommend this place for its fantastic food and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance is clean, cozy, and relaxed, complemented by soothing acoustic music that sets the perfect mood. I had the pleasure of trying several dishes: Mee Racun, Fish and Chips, Tahu Begedil, and Kueh Teow Tom Yam.
The highlight was definitely the Mee Racun, which was presented with a touch of "magic"—a creative flair that made the dish not only taste great but visually impressive as well. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying.
Overall, it's a delightful dining experience where the food and atmosphere blend perfectly for a...
