Gold Coast Malacca International Resort — Hotel in Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council

The worst resort. This hotel is nothing like gold coast sepang or morib. This is nothing near "international" resort. The receptionist is not helpful at all. They don't even know what buggy is. They don't have buggy/bell boy even though the room is quite far from the waterpark. The housekeeping is the worst. We took 3 bedroom family room. Our room is very dirty : spider web, broken shower, broken lamp, unclean bathroom, and cigarette butt all over our balcony (even though i've requested non-smoking room). We stayed for 3d1n. They don't even replace any towels or clean the bathroom or make out bed or swipe the floor (until i ask them to) they ONLY come to refill the water bottle 1 TIME only.

The breakfast area is messy, they don't deserve any star. The cheap hotel is better than this. I was deceived by the blog reviews and google images, none of them are available now. Worst maintenance from so called "international resort" Their hotel rooms are mostly neglected. The dining hall is an abandoned building..full with trash. The jacuzzi and The Ship is abandoned. Lack of maintenance. We ate breakfast at the corridor. They don't serve lunch and dinner. They don't even have restaurant.

The only star I give because of it waterpark in the middle and the kids enjoy it (although is is quite dirty) The rest is a total regret. Not recommended at all. Unless you plan to have a vacation at super cheap resort and...

The only good point is staff are friendly and kind. Maintenance for facilities and room is worst. When first reach, there's very limited parking bay. All the building is not maintain nicely, grasses grow very well at the open parking area. The water looks dirty and have some green fungus on top. Again, not well maintained. My nightmare is the cleanliness of the room. Bedsheets is very dirty with some red and water stains, hairs too. Sofa looks like never clean before, with all the dusts and even footprints on top. Chairs for dining table is full with dirt, stains and insects waste. Only a noisy ceiling fan in living room. We can hear whoever pass by the room. Washroom for master bed room looks like haven't fully renovation. Ceiling full with spider nets while the wall got a lot of unknown insects. I bought birthday package which included dinner. Unbelievable, when we asked the staff for it, they bring us to ship which only one table with a very poor background, there's no fans or air-conditioning , with many mosquitos and cats around. We were served a plate with grill chicken, with french fries and some salad. The chicken was over cooked. We force to finish the dinner before the day getting darker because of the mosquitos. The only thing is the brownie cake taste...

I don't want to recommend this place to one who very detailed and fussy. They have the worst management ever. If I knew the owner, I would go straight to them and say, 'You should be ashamed on how you run your business here, how you manage to get idea on obtained profit by spreading false advertisement about your hotel? Giving out beautiful photos but when arrived you get leaking airconds, broken toilet flush, and even lousy cuisine you've prepared for your customers ?'

There's thing I could see, your maintenance team had done their best to fulfill all customer's need day and night, your kitchenette and servers had done their best on pulling all the sweat to cater customer's need. But i certainly knew that they work under one management whom, I could say, cheapskate. Yes I know to maintain the good thing is hard, and very very pricey. And that is business, learn, rebuild, develop and repeat. If you don't have that criteria, don't jump into business lah. I hope that GCR could improve more than never ! At least on the breakfast.

I'm giving one star for the pool, even less better than Bayou. But I could see kids and their parents (yeah they played the slides) enjoyed their time in the pool. And pools open at night too !...
