I revisited Jay Bee Garden Restaurant after a long absence, and I was delighted to find that the quality of food has been well-maintained under the new management (the son of the original owner).
The restaurant offers a comforting selection of home-cooked dishes, prepared with care and attention to flavor. The environment is clean and inviting, making for a pleasant dining experience. As expected, the restaurant remains popular, particularly during lunch hour. I ordered the Teochew steamed fish, and it was a standout – the fish was incredibly fresh, and the soup was flavorful and satisfying.

Read morePatronised 21st March 2021. Had the fish fish curry, scallion tofu, omelette egg and meat roll. Thumbs up for the fish curry and tofu. Pretty good. All priced very reasonably too,including the drinks. You won’t feel cheated by the pricing. Will add this place to our regular list of restaurants. Menu was in Chinese and pictures on the menu were small. Would be great if they can improve this aspect, but don’t let the menu prevent you from patronising. I don’t speak, read or understand Chinese, but the owners were friendly enough to explain their menu in Malay....

The staff are even honest to tell us dont order other dishes as the portion is more than sufficient unless we are big eater.
