A place to dine in for those who love a typical Chinese Malaysian breakfast (non-halal though). Went on an early Sunday morning so some of their items on the menu were still unavailable (Wantan Noodles and Chicken Rice). Tried: Mountain Hor Kar Sai ☕️ (RM6.60) was refreshing Tonkotsu Salad Omelette Guabao 🐷🥪 (酥炸豬排鮮蔬蛋刈包, RM6.90) was good! Freshly prepared; crispy pork with omelette, topped with mayo and mustard sauces Their Homemade Dry Ban Mee 🍜 (RM8.90) and Nasi Lemak (RM3) were decent, nothing to shout out about They only accept cash or TNG. Do be early especially on weekends if you want a table without having to wait. Plenty of parking spaces around the area.
UPDATE:- Finally managed to try their Wanton Noodles and Chicken Rice: Black Sauce Wanton noodles 🍜 were a bit pricey (RM8) but I love the springy/QQ noodles. ‼️(Must-try) Ice White Chicken with Rice balls (2 pax portion at RM22) 🐔🍚🍗. The meat's juicy and succulent, and goes well with the fragrant rice balls mixed with the soy sauce and...
Read moreFamous place for coffee. First time here. The coffee was impeccably thick and creamy. The ice cream had a good vanilla flavour but... Maybe because they unfreeze and refreeze the ice cream repeatedly, or maybe it's just cheap brand, it had shards of tiny ice crystals in the ice cream. I would prefer something like Wxlls ice cream. Coffee wasn't freezing cold when ice cream was added, so the ice cream melted quickly.
Tried their chicken rice. It was amazing. The ice chicken rice was refreshing. Old people might not like it but I do. Most chicken rice was kinda lukewarm because the chicken was hung in room temperature. Some rinse with hot soup before serving. This, this is iced, making it really refreshing to have especially during hot days. The soup is slightly seasoned only, cooked with aged cucumber. Chili sauce is just average.
I'm broke. This place is suitable for me. Haha....

Five of us came in for a late breakfast, the place was fully occupied when we arrived, we waited, not long for a table and were soon seated inside, more people came in after us. Yet another place in Johor Bahru that employs young, enthusiastic workers, they have a varied mostly local menu quite suited to our breakfast appetite. I had the kampong eggs on toast, they were almost but not quite like proper poached eggs on toast. The food was good, the service was very efficient, which makes this a very popular place...
