眉山川菜馆 Meisan Szechuan Restaurant — Restaurant in Johor

Eat here only if you really really really have time to spare. The restaurant at that Time only just 2 table with customers (including us)They took more than 1 hour to cook 6 dishes and we all missed our train because we have to stay in this restaurant longer than we should (we didn't expect they cook so slowly. )

We arrived there for lunch and they said they sold out all duck dishes. If we reserve the duck dish for lunch , they can keep the previous day's duck for us ( yes, you will eat Yesterday's cooked duck for today's lunch). If we want the duck dish prepare on the same day , we have to be back for dinner. So we reserve the duck dish for dinner and went elsewhere for lunch (hence wasted an hour of our day trip. At 6.20 pm we all back to this same restaurant for dinner, placed order for 6 dishes and they completed the cooking of all the dishes only around an hour later. We finished our rice and early dishes served but the last dish didn't arrive yet. By time we finished our meal, it's almost 8pm. When we made it to CIQ, our train station had closed the gate and the train left.

With this bad experience, we will only go there if we really have time to kill.

For all fairness, the food is nice and staff attitude...

An old name, I knew this restaurant for it's french beans dish. But it seems that name is soon be forgotten.

I visited on a Friday night, there's only 1 table, that's mine.

Let's talk about the location, it's hidden in a corner of the zon's berjaya hotel, where this area is known for the party life, the jetty to Indonesia, if not for it's name, I won't even know there's a restaurant here. The restaurant is at level 5 of the hotel, but from the shopping mall, you will have to take lift to level 6 and then decent to level 5, pretty confusing.

Food is pretty standard, nothing to wooha about. I have no complaints or compliments because probably my friends' companions have overshadowed the food.

Btw it's a halal restaurant (no pork). I hope they will survive and...

Extremely bad experience. Do not recommend to visit at all.

Made reservation for 6pm, but only allowed to enter the restaurant at 6.30pm.

Pre-ordered few dishes one week In advanced via whatsapp provided on Facebook, but the restaurant say did not receive our order and one of the pre-ordered item not available. A Mr. Wong at the restaurant said I should not have ordered via whatsapp, should have called the restaurant directly. If cannot order via whatsapp, then say it instead of telling me can pre-order via whatsapp then only blame me for doing so.

Dirty cups, plates and bowls on table. Asked to replace but got ignored. Need to request sever times before getting the replacements.

Quality of dishes are far below...
