It took me about 25 minutes’ drive from CIQ to reach this eatery. I went for the original white version of the noodles. Pleasantly, there was no trace of that usual alkaline smell. The noodles were soft and easy to bite - though I personally prefer them a little firmer, al dente style. The dish comes as it is, unless you would like to enhance it with extra ingredients - which, of course, also means a saltier flavour. (You can’t fault them if decided to add more mince meat). The wanton soup reminded me of simple home-cooked meals: light, comforting, with a generous touch of condiments. The dumplings themselves were on the smaller side, with not much filling inside. Service was unhurried, leaning towards the slow and easy side, but the staff were attentive and pleasant, which made the experience a positive one overall.

Though a bit far from citysquare area(20-30mins by driving) but if you are craving for kolomee, the distance is not an issue. I would say it’s very authentic. Love the sausage. I think they have 3 options for the noodle: black, red and white. I was served the black one, not too bad, but normally i prefer the white one. The noodle is QQ, not soft and sticky type. They also recommended the 3 layers drink, without knowing what’s inside, I ordered it, seems like it’s milk, tea and gula melaka.

i may not have ever been to sarawak before , but i had the most authentic sarawakian kolo mee experince here . The owner and his daughters were the most welcoming and friendly ambassadors of their cusine and hospitality i have ever met . I will definitely coming here again . This is my first time coming here & definitely will be part of my regular culinary routine .. Thank you so much
