OYO 428 Hope Hotel — Hotel in Johor

The reception staff young lady is very RUDE. It was a work trip from KL to Melaka then to JB, we've booked from Agoda which stated "No payment required for this booking". When we arrived at the hotel with the Agoda booking confirmation pdf, the reception told us that there is no record in their system.

We're not upset anyway & enquiry for any room with 3 beds or triple room with add-on extra bed. The reception became frustrated and tell us repeatedly that triple room can accommodate 3 persons, which we understand but we wished to have 3 beds so that we can rest well for the next day errands.

The reception told us it would be packed if add-on extra bed, therefore we've requested to have a look on the room, and she said CANNOT. After that she called a lady & asked her to come over to the hotel RUDELY, where we guessed she asked the lady to bring us for Room tour.

When the lady arrived, she said RUDELY "Just bring them to see, they want to see mah!"

We might just pay & stay, but with their room condition & with RUDE services, we've decided to choose another hotel for a good...

When step in this hotel before the staircase, can feel that the decorations of this hotel very unique. Nothing can be comments with the cheaper price I had pay after the promotion rate. For the cafe at the ground level , it feel very comfortable . Also observed that different type customers step in this cafe during tea break time. Back to the hotel room ,the housekeeping can be improve slightly due to dust can be observed significantly in my eyesight. The room never provide the beverages like coffee and tea.The layer cake they selling in the cafe not bad. The receptionist very young. Small room but for me is quite clean. No traffic noise so I like that. No cockroaches or any unpleasant smell in the room. The front desk staff is also friendly - a chinese guy and lady. They smiled upon seeing me. Aircond is great - very cold. Wifi also great connection. I watched YouTube in the room without any lagging. Heater also works well - water pressure is good. They provide shampoo, body wash, mineral water, toothbrush and toothpaste. There's an iron outside. Same floor. Also a dining table which is quite nice. For Muslims, there's a qiblat sticker inside the room which made it easy for me. That's all. I think good enough for the...
