The Bookafe incident reminds me of having some bad experiences at this shop which I couldn't hold my urge to give a comment. I used to come here and eat but there was a blond (gold) hair boy who worked as a cashier was really lanc ngl. He was aloof and less willing to answer your question. And it was my first time seeing a FnB worker raising voice to their consumers when he feels irritated to answer questions. The women manager speaks very aggressively also. Is it appropriate to have such attitude in the FnB industry? This shop really has to work on its customer's engagement. A decrease of crowd at this shop can be seen and poor employee training is one of the major issues. I have pictures of the cashier but I don't really wanna post it fr. Yes, It was a past incident but I couldn't stop myself from giving a comment as a...
Read moreOur first time here after passing by this newly opened restaurant a couple of times while driving around the area. This area seems to be a hot spot for aircon kopitiam and Bai Wei happens to be another aircon kopitiam with similar offering as all those operating nearby like 1st Kopitiam, Hou’s Kopitiam, GD Cafe …. Menu also similar with some rice sets and noodles. We ordered a chicken chop rice set (Rm18.90) which comes with rice topped with Taiwanese style pork cubes ala Lu rou fan, one hard boiled egg, 2 tiny fried wantons & 3 tiny slices of water melon. The chicken chop was freshly cooked and indeed tasted pretty good. The aircon is very strong and for those seeking a cold refuge, this the place for your meals 😉. Dining area is spacious and...
Read moreI’ve been to the Melaka Kota Laksamana branch a few times and decided to try out their Damai Perdana outlet. The experience was very consistent — menu and service are practically the same, so if you’ve been to one, you’ll feel right at home at the other.
Food-wise, the taste is still solid and satisfying, no drop in quality compared to the Melaka branch. Service is straightforward and efficient, so you won’t be left waiting too long.
The only challenge here is parking, as the neighbourhood tends to get really busy, especially during meal times. It can take a while to find a spot.
Overall, if you enjoy Bai Wei Kopitiam, this outlet is definitely a good option, just plan ahead...
