Disappointed and Frustrated - Denali Restaurant Fails on Basic Customer Service

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Denali Restaurant. They outright refused to serve plain hot water, insisting we buy mineral water from their menu instead. It felt as though they assumed we were trying to get something for free, which is absurd given the circumstances.

We specifically requested hot water because my mom needs it due to her health condition, and my two children, who were sick with flu and phlegm, also needed hot water. Despite explaining this, the staff showed a complete lack of understanding and empathy.

Initially, they did bring us one cup of hot water but then informed us that they don't serve plain hot water and only sell mineral water. I politely requested two more hot waters for my kids, only to be told again by another waiter that they don't serve hot water, just mineral water. This repeated refusal, despite our polite requests and clear explanation of the situation, was incredibly frustrating.

I ended up ordering a hot tea for RM6 just to get some hot water, which I needed for my gastric condition. This whole situation is ridiculous. Even if they wanted to charge for hot water, they could have done so instead of flatly refusing to serve it.

We spent a total of RM408 on our meal, yet we were denied a basic request for hot water. This kind of stinginess and lack of customer care is unacceptable. It's not like we were asking for something extravagant – just plain hot water for health reasons.

This experience was a huge inconvenience, especially for my mom with her heart condition and for anyone who can't drink cold or sweet beverages. Denali Restaurant needs to seriously reconsider their policies and show more compassion and flexibility towards their customers. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this...

This place located on top of a double stories building. The environment more towards Latin-America feeling. You might to have some smells of Cuba, or Peru, maybe smells of Columbia, or Vanezuela over here.

Surrounded by some ethnics decoration and green plants in a giant pot at the main entrance which look like a mini park. Few Red Indian dream-catchers hung at most of its wall and some other written plate as decorations. Wooden furniture been used besides they put a sofa set at the corner for their customers who needed a soft and cozy seating togather with aesthetic designed pillow. Light music also been played to create moods and to match with surroundings in the evening. These comfort environment made you feel at home.

Food always prepare in a big portion, suitable with it's price. Here you can get Desserts (from cake and ice cream), Seven choices of Cakes, Seven types of Appetizers, three types of Kids Menu, four types of Main Menu which you need to choose three side-dishes (5 types of sides), Fish & Chips, three choices of Burgers with fries, five types of Sandwiches, and four types of Pasta.

This include, ten types of Coffee (single origin beans) with option hot and cold, three types of beverages which are non-coffee, seven types of Cold Pressed Juice, a Kombucha, eleven types of Mocktails and another three Signature Mocktails, thirteen types of Tea (sachet), and three others.

I believed that all food had been prepared by all professional cook which made the good quality as their priority. If you love TGIF or Chillies, this restaurant give you a much better choice to have.
