I just wanted to drop by and have some snacks to avoid jam during traffic hours. So I found this cafe and thought I would come back here cuz of the environment and the furnishings.
The point is, I ordered a bowl of mushroom soup and mash potatoes. Mushroom soup is fine BUT not the mashed potato. The mashed potato was doughy, gluey, sticky and starchy instead of creamy and fluffy. It was legit like eating boiling hot mochi, dreadful.
Besides, MOST waiters I saw are foreigners, who couldn’t understand English well nor Malay. But I told one of the waiter to send back to the kitchen and see what he/ the kitchen can do something about it and come back to inform me first before proceeding with any solutions. Then, the staff said they will ask the captain/manager to come speak to me but no manager or captain came. Without my consent of making me a new mashed potato, they just send me a new one anyways. Unfortunately, it taste the same. And I asked them where is the manager/captain, and all the waiter replied is that the captain and manager is not here.
Well, I guess maybe other food is still edible and it’s just that I’m the unlucky one who ordered that mashed potato XD but I’m doubt of coming back here. “Great service” charge and...

Asked for a medium rare, seems pretty good but you can tell the quality of meat isn't the best. Its decent for its price of only RM48 though. Mashed potato tasted nice but lumpy and sticks in one piece so interpret that how you will. Came with carrot and pumpkin.
Sauce was a bit too sweet, the seafood wasn't as fresh (probably frozen? I'm not sure) because the prawn's skin couldn't be peeled off well. But they offered 3 decently sized prawns and 2 good sized mussels. The pasta wasn't al dente if that's your preference.
This one was the worst out of all 3, the other 2 were mostly decent. Its a chicken breast dish, which was dry. Still edible and won't hurt your jaw, but dry. Came with deep fried broccoli and carrots (or sweet potato?) which were nice and flavourful. The sauce was simple but fairly good.
Overall, a good place to come when you're okay with spending a bit more on western but not burst your wallet. Bill was RM135 + sex on a beach mocktail and water. Food was on the larger portion size so its pretty worth your money. Ambience is nice too, eventhough the outside surrounding area wouldn't...
Read moreThe place have quiet a nice ambience with some interesting art and design. You can sit outside or inside with air-conditioning. There is also a separate bar area with live band in the evening. You can use one of the two private room if you are a member. You can enjoy unlimited free one slice of cake everytime you dine there on your birthday month as a member too. The cake is quite good with choices like orea cheese, black forest and peanut butter. I tried the brunch set that comes with coffee/tea and option to upgrade to some iced drinks or juice. I would say it is value for money. My set came with a good portion of fries. For the main course I ordered the grill chicken thigh with some carrot, corn (very small and low quality), mashed potatoes, coleslaw and good portion of fries. Unfortunately the chicken is not marinated as the inside is mostly tasteless. Even the grilled outside is not tasty. The souce did help a bit but the thigh is on the dry side. Not worth it for the price. Overall it is an ok place, probably will be back for the...
