Ahekor Restaurant — Restaurant in Kajang Municipal Council

I had the pleasure of dining at 阿许哥胡椒辣汤 recently, and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the reasonable prices. The restaurant offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious.

We started with the white chicken with special sauce, steamed fish, and the signature pepper soup. The flavors were bold and satisfying, and the portions were generous. We couldn’t resist adding a few more dishes to try, including the cabbage stir fry, salted egg roll, and fried egg. Every dish was a hit!

The prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we received. The service was also friendly and attentive. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at 阿许哥胡椒辣汤 and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable meal. I can’t wait to go back and try more of...

Looking for good home cooked style food in Balakong? Ahekor is a good choice. Don't expect too much in the setting and food presentation but the food is good and brings back memories especially if you grew up eating traditional Hakka dishes.

We ordered a few of their signature dishes including the yam braised pork and spicy soup. However, I must say that the dish I enjoyed the most was the simple but satisfying blanched okra. Most of the time, blanched okra can turn out soft and slimy but here, they are still crunchy and not slimy at all.

Environment is clean and comfortable. Service is great and quick.

Ordered hakka fried meat (客家炸猪肉), white pepper spicy soup (辣汤）, steam egg tofu (肉碎鸡蛋豆腐)

Hakka fried meat - quite gravy. Pork belly is tasty. Usually hakka cuisine tend to be salty, but not this place. It taste great for me, but not sure for others who like it to be salty.

White spicy soup - soup taste is great and clean. Meat is tender and fresh. Maybe soup base not so thick compared with other place, depends on personal preference.

Steam egg tofu - homemade tofu. Soy milk mixed with egg. Taste is great.

Overall, foods taste is great. Worth to visit especially if you prefer light taste on...
