#Potlepak Bandar Laguna Merbok — Restaurant in Kedah

My children and I (4 adults) decided on having western food that night. We arrived early that evening. When we entered, we were impressed what we saw. Very cosy place with nice environment and tastefully furnished. No loud noises. Not crowded. Very relaxing. The waiter immediately attend to us. He was patient, polite, attentive and helpful with our order. There are plenty to choose from the menu at an acceptable prices. We ordered mushroom soup, caesar salad, mix platter, mac & cheese, chicken parmegiano, mocktail, latte and mocha. The service came quick. We all enjoyed our food and drinks. We finished everything, except the flags. It's only our first visit there. Not fair to give detailed review. But, I need to mention about the quality of the dishes. They all need some improvement. Aside from presentation and portioning, the quality and freshness of ingredients needs monitoring. Here kitchen staffs need to be alert. What an injustice to good food when quality is bad. We were sitted at a place for 6 with small (coffee?) table. Our food came quick until there wasn't enough space on the table. I hope you're not rushing us!? Just imagine all the orders on the (4x2 ft) table at once. It's uncomfortable. I give my sincerest review andcrating base on the experience, place, service and beverages (minus ½ star ... SORRY). Here for the 2nd time, the first one was probably last year. We had a good experience on the last one and was looking forward to it again this time. We ordered the Mexican Nachos and Chicken Poppers with 2 Cafe Lattes.

Mexican Nachos (RM16) - Portion was pretty good, enough for sharing with 2-3 Pax, lots of minced beef, veggies and cheese was also banyak (mozzarella). Drizzled with bbq sauce. Yumms

Chicken Poppers (RM12) - Portion size was decent, chicken was tender but the batter has room for improvement, taste a bit bland, came with cili mayo, which goes well with the chicken poppers. Sedap jugak.

Cafe Latte (RM9) - the one we had was a bit weak, can be better, the microfoam can be more smoother and silky. It came piping hot, i guess the barista oversteamed the susu. Boleh minum.

Toilet - this one has to fix. Now it's abit kotor. (Sayang lah, if tempat cantik, food sedap, tapi toilet tak sama standard)

Overall, it's a good place to bawak your family for makan², price is reasonable and consider murah for the size and quality you get. Service is fast and the staffs are friendly and well versed with the menu. Menu choices also banyak. Ada nasi, ada western, and also desserts.

One hidden gem in SP. Do come and lepak here, the ambience are nice for a quick healing, for you and your partner/kids. Foods are great. Very kids friendly (the menu).

Noticed some books offered in open shelf (very nice!), also free water coway for those wanting plain water only.

Special thanks to owner/staff, bcs we got an extra free porridge for our kids under 2. The fact that they are offering something free shows how great the owner is, understanding the concept of rizq (more you give, more you"ll get). Semoga Allah luaskan lagi rezeki, and semoga bertambah maju...
