TANGLISH CAFE — Restaurant in Kedah

When I travel north, this is a place that I would highly recommend for your lunch and dinner.

This is my second visit and I had again an absolutely amazing experience at Tanglish Cafe!

What make this place is the presentation of each dish are stunning and resembles closely to what you see in the menu. I would say that's stunning. A true culinary art that looked almost too good to eat.

But the taste more than matched the visuals; every bite was bursting with rich, balanced flavors that showcased both creativity and authenticity. The blend of traditional Indian spices with some modern fusion twists was executed perfectly.

On top of that, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Kudos to Durga! ✨👏🏽

A must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates food that delights both the eyes and the palate!

I have been trying to go to this cafe for around 3 times but it was unsuccessful attempt. I managed to get there at the 4th time. There was a guy waiter and the welcoming service that we get was quite poor. He was minding his own business and I had to search for him when I want to ask some details. The lady waitress was very sweet and cater to all my needs. I ordered masala tea and chicken sandwich. The food was great. And when I wanted to pay at the cashier, the guy waiter attend to me with a sober face. I understand that u might be tired but just a small smile cost nothing. We visited Tanglish Cafe, Sungai Petani, Kedah on 9 September 2025 while travelling to Kedah for official matters. While searching on Google, we came across this cafe with excellent ratings and decided to give it a try.

This was our first visit, and we were truly impressed! The food was delicious, fresh, and absolutely yummy. The cozy and welcoming environment, combined with the friendliness of the waiter, made our lunch even more enjoyable.

Overall, we rate both the food and the ambience a full 5 stars. We are really satisfied with the service and the quality of food served. Without a doubt, we will definitely return to this cafe whenever we come to Sungai Petani, Kedah. Highly...
