Very disappointed with my recent visit to this well-known dim sum. While I have no issue with the self-service concept, the service staff at the dim sum counter were rude, which made the experience quite unpleasant from the start.
The restaurant was poorly organised, especially when it came to table seating. I noticed several groups of 3–5 pax occupying large tables meant for 10–12 pax, while other customers were squeezed into small tables tucked away in dark corners, directly under the dusty air-conditioning compressor and duct. It felt cramped, unhygienic, and dusty, completely unacceptable for a dining environment.
To make matters worse, there was a large, messy stack of baskets placed right next to where customers were eating. It gave the impression of a lack of basic cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Cleanliness of the restaurant overall was poor, including the toilet, floor of the dinning area and overall dining area, which were dirty, messy and not well maintained.
As for the food, it was underwhelming. The basic dim sum e.g siew mai and har gao skins were too thick, and the overall taste and texture of all dim sum did not match the reputation of this place is known for.
All in all, a very disappointing experience — from cleanliness to service to food quality. Definitely not up to standard and not worth the hype. Serious...

The place recently received a new renovated extension which is welcomed. Bear in mind there is no air-conditioner here so you will find yourself sweating depending on the temperature and how busy the place is at the time.
Food-wise, I find some of the food cold while others are warm so some consistency would be nice. We do not have any problem with the food price because it is very reasonable for the amount of dishes we are getting.
The service of the waiters and waitresses is pretty efficient. You will find your empty trays being collected at a fast pace so props to the staffs. We have come here many times for breakfast and will continue to do so...
