I went there at night and I went there in the day, and I loved it on both occasions .
It has trees for shade, sandy beach and the water is calm because it is sheltered by islands in a lagoon like manner .
At night, you can have the entire place to yourself . The only thing is that at night it is pretty dark, because the place is quite secluded and thus has nothing lighting it, so bring a good torch light . If you bring a couple of camping chair, make a bonfire (bring your own fire wood because there are not much twigs or branches here ) and some drinks , you can have a great chat with a friend until the wee hour of the morning .
In the day it will have stalls and eateries that sells things like laksa and rojak .The calm water makes it comfortable for you to swim in , especially if you don't know how to swim like me.The trees provide excellent shade and again, the crowd is pretty thin. We went there early around 7:30am - 8:00am, was pleasantly surprised that we were the only ones there and no one else.
It was so so peaceful and zen with no one else but us and the sea and sand between our toes. Truly grate to have found this place and give it a shot.
