Eating out at a restaurant can be an enjoyable experience, but unfortunately, there are times when things do not go as planned. This was the case for me when I had a bad experience at a food restaurant a few months ago.
I had heard about this particular restaurant from a friend who had recommended it for their delicious food and cozy atmosphere. So, I decided to give it a try and went there for lunch with my family. However, from the moment we walked in, things went downhill.
The restaurant was crowded, and it took us a long time to be seated. When we finally got a table, we waited for almost 20 minutes before a waiter came to take our order. We ordered our food and waited patiently, but it took an hour for our food to arrive. When our food finally arrived, it was cold and tasted bland. We complained to the waiter, and they took our food back to the kitchen. However, it took another 45 minutes for the food to be replaced.
To make matters worse, the service was terrible. The waiter was inattentive and barely checked on us throughout the meal. We had to ask for water and utensils multiple times, and it took forever to get them.
By the end of our meal, we were extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. We decided to speak to the manager about our experience, but unfortunately, they were nowhere to be found. We left the restaurant feeling frustrated and unhappy.
This experience taught me that not all restaurants live up to their hype. It's essential to do your research and read reviews before deciding where to eat. It's also important to speak up and voice your concerns when something is not right. No one deserves to pay for a bad experience, especially when it comes to food.
In conclusion, my bad experience at the food restaurant was a huge disappointment. From the poor service to the cold and tasteless food, it was a waste of time and money. However, I learned from this experience, and it has made me more cautious when choosing...
Read moreOf course there are plenty of laksa places that are very good and famous. But it can be said that XE laksa can easily match them in taste and quality. It's a hidden jewel in the laksa world as it's not located in the laksa capital of Penang. XE's laksa fish broth is sufficiently sweet n sour, and filled with fish flakes. The rice noodles are springy and smooth to the taste. For ladies who like their laksa to be very spicy, they won't be disappointed as XE is very generous with their chili padi. So if you don't like it to be that spicy, make sure you ask them to miss out on the chili padi. The only downside of XE laksa is that their shop's environment is hot, although not stuffy. Although there are a lot of customers, their service is fast and efficient due to the use of electronic pad POS. XE serve dessert tong sui like bubur cha cha, green beans soup, gandum too. And they are delicious...

This is the original Signature Assam Stall outlet in Sungai Petani. Was also told they have a branch in Penang as well. This is one of the best Assam Laksa 5 🌟 we tried this year.. So good that we had to tapau (take away) many packets for seconds. The soup was thick with extra big chunky fish and the noodles were cooked to perfection. Definitely a must try for Assam Laksa lovers.
In addition we tried the Bachang 3 🌟 which was a tad too dry. The curry fried noodles 4 🌟 were also quite nice. I also like the Penang Styled Chee Cheong Fun 4 🌟 (with prawn sauce). The white coffee 4 🌟 is also quite nice... On the overall this place is a Assam Laksa specialist and I will definitely revisit the next round I'm near.
