The business model is rather straightforward. FOC tea and self-service condiments. Choose your lala (clamp) soup and steamboat ingredients.
I like the way they use a metal plate wall to dissipate the heat upwards instead of us taking the brunt of the charcoal pot. This in itself deserves praise. As long as there's some breeze, you should feel it's somewhat cooling as the fans are all at full swing.
As for the food: Soup - soup base tasted a bit like a mixture of mushroom soup and milk? Something like that. It's pretty ok though, prefer something creamier.
Ingredients - ordered normal fishball, teochew fishball, prawn paste, pork meat and vege. All of them came fresh, finished everything. Even drank a few extra bowls of soup.
All in all, food is good, most of the things are self service, and a very basic setup of tables. 1 extra ⭐ if the place can be well cooled. Just be prepared for hot weather. Price is considered average, at least cheaper than many other...
