AH PENG BAK KUT TEH — Restaurant in Klang Municipal Council

"Once upon a time, there was a legendary BKT seller and under his tutelage were four (4) disciples namely Ah Her, Ah Peng, Samy and another one I forgot his name already. They went their own way and opened respective BKT restaurants."

This story was told by a dear friend of mine who's a Klang native for almost half a decade. Many years ago he brought me everywhere to eat BKT when I went to look for him. There were similarities between these 4 but over the years they have tuned the flavour to suit their own styles.

I personally like going to Ah Peng BKT in Taman Sentosa. I found that BKT broth at Ah Peng is more balanced in terms of flavour of herbs and sweetness from pork. One bowl is never enough and I'd order 2 bowls to go with my rice. I'd also take finish the meat and the rice first before slowly enjoying the soup till its last drop.

Don't ever come! You won't have appetite as you will have werid smell from table. Ask to clean the table but still using same smelly towel to clean, not hygiene at all.
