My uncle told me last week this newly opened outlet is even much better than the HQ. Personally I wouldn't say it's better but more or less on par with HQ and other outlets. The taste was a little milder, less meaty taste, perhaps that suits older's taste. Unlike other chained bkt shops that hv inconsistent quality, Samy is very good in keeping the quality consistent across outlets that I hv visited. Being a branch of the famous Samy Bak Kut Teh, this restaurant sells nothing but bak kut teh, soup type, dry type and 1 type of vegetable. Food is great, equally good as Samy HQ at Pandamaran which operates only in the morning. Restaurant is pretty small considering it is a middle shoplot.
