Latest Update Dinner: Wow this is a great recommendation as the dish is so delicious and way better than those nice restaurants. Price is also reasonable and service is tip top from both food stall and kopitiam uncle.
Breakfast: Famous Air Panas wan tan mee previously located near the traffic light now move and shifted to this food court opposite the good shepherd church.
This food courts is spacious and have more food options compare to the previous one e.g. pan mee, fried kuey teow, curry etc. The wan tan mee standard still same springy and delicious but cost increase for a medium plate for RM10, small coffee/teh c is RM2 and a set of half boiled eggs is RM3.
Anyway still my favourite wan tan mee around Setapak area for morning breakfast but a bit pricey at suburbs like this (still ok for me for personal preference). Parking still available along the side road or opposite lorong near the church but It might be difficult during Sunday church services...

Our equivalence is nothing near this simple yet skilled demanding dish, our Fried Kwai Teow is totally oily and the condiments of prawns, pork slices and sometimes cockles cause the difference. However today I found my conterminous stall and hidden in a small food court opposite the setapak wet market. Mr. Bom small fried turned me into a believer and fan. The “char-ness” and the dryness of the dish overwhelmingly stunned all my tastebuds and the wok hei ( the charcoal heat) just danced on my tongue. I’m back next week for another shocking...

Several foodstalls to choose eg mixed rice, prawn mee, pan mee, nasi lemak, wanton noodles and chicken rice.j I ordered 2 big (rm8.50/plate) plates of wantan noodles (was told hand made) ...tastes and portion just so-so only...even cannot compare to both Ipoh's Jalan Timah Kopitiams... wantan mee is overated...the chicken rice (ordered 2 plates of chicken breast with rice) runs by a foreign couples rm6 perplate. Price is reasonable....Drinks: Milo ice tapow (thick enough rm4 perpacket) and Kopi ice tapow (thick also rm3.20 per packet). Also ordered some pastries like siew Poa rm2.30 each, 🍩 donuts rm3.00each and Portuguese egg tarts)... nothing...
