Honestly, I won't give it another try.

Service: horrendous. Arrogant people. From booking of event till day of event, nothing is right. Slow response to messages, missed a serving of food, staff lack of attention and slow service. One of the item (deep fried tofu) no stock since days ago but no one from the restaurant informed us, until on the event day itself. They replaced with tofu claypot but served on a flat plate.

Food: Sotong Sambal is spicy and tasty but a bit hard to chew tho. The deep fried fish in soy and garlic sauce is tasty, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Buttered prawn's egg floss was crispy and well seasoned.

Let's not mention the other food we ordered (total 10 items).

The worse taste award goes to their Chinese fried rice. At RM22, it's definitely no value for money. It's totally bland. Even a pack of Adabi fried rice taste so much better. Doesn't look tempting at all. And this is the item which they overlooked from our paid menu. Can see it's a rush job to cook when everyone almost going home.

Environment: Honestly, with an open space like that, they need to be very alert that stray cats and dogs "frequently visits" the restaurant. It's extremely unhygienic as the cat was sitting comfortably at the chairs. They should at least wipe clean the dirt and bacteria.

Think about it. There are still many other Chinese muslim restaurants which serves better food and a more reasonable price, with...

I’d like to share some feedback regarding the service experience at Muhibbah Seafood Restaurant.

Overall, the staff’s awareness and alertness were lacking. There seems to be a lack of attentiveness and engagement with customers. For instance, when asked simple questions like “What’s your top seller?” the staff couldn’t provide clear or confident answers. A response like “everything is nice” isn’t helpful — staff should be able to recommend dishes confidently and know what the restaurant is known for.

Customers come not only for good food but also for warm service and hospitality. We want to feel welcomed, not treated as just another table or another transaction. During my visit, it wasn’t even busy, yet staff appeared more focused on chatting among themselves rather than paying attention to guests.

On a positive note, I’d like to highlight the coffee shop in the garden, where the service truly stood out. The barista took the time to explain the coffee beans, was well-spoken, and clearly knew his products. That’s the kind of professionalism and passion I’d expect from an establishment like Muhibbah.

I hope management takes this feedback constructively and invests in retraining the team — not only on product knowledge but also on customer awareness, attentiveness, and enthusiasm for service. Good food attracts customers once, but good service keeps them...

This was my first time trying out this restaurant.

Honestly review for a foodie like me? FAIL! I AM SO DISSAPOINTED WITH THE FOOD AND THE SERVICE!!

I had my Chinese reunion dinner with my family here and we PRE ORDERED our food and the fact that they missed out serving our pre-ordered desserts is just the tip of the iceberg.

Nak minta server to serve us BUKAN MAIN PAYAH SUSAH! It is to the point I had to go to the kitchen area to seek for assistance. Nak minta chopped chillis and and garlic macam sial! We almost missed out getting our Prawns in Dry Har Lok Sauce until my dad realized our order is missing on the last minute. Itu pun kena remind eh? Dessert kita pun lupa.

Is this your first time serving high volume customers reservations ke? With such well known restaurant like yours, I would have expected at least a normal service instead of having your customers run here and there asking for your server's assistance.

We paid our pre-ordered CNY dinner at RM635++ yah btw.

I think we were overly disappointed with the service and please dont 100% believe Tiktok food review guys. All paid review je, not genuine.

Conclusion: 100% BANNED, just don't go. There are better halal seafood places out there. Food taste like crap anyway it...

There are only handful of Halal Chinese Restaurant in town and this is one of it. Located in a kampung area, they occupied an open building. Limited parking, you have to park outside/road side. Food wise, as for Yee Sang, it’s ok but the portion wise is too big for 6pax. Pls look into that. However, portion for other dishes is another story. We ordered fried Kam Heong lala (clams), it’s tasty. But it’s so damn small. The deep fried calamari same. Very very small. Fist size dish. As for the Thai sauce Chicken, tasty but nothing to scream about. Ma Po (Sichuan) Tafu, taste is also alright just that doesn’t have that extra kick taste. The veg is good and nice. And lastly ordered the ginger style steamed fish. Also an ok ok dish. Pricing wise is bit on the high side. Generally a good place for non Chinese to have meals with their Muslim friends. One issue I need to point out that the service is below par, it took us 10mins to give us our menu and another 15mins for captain to take our order. I also don’t understand why all the working staff have to gather in one corner and left us and other tables without any attentions. 3.5 because the food was good & i will definitely come again. But for fairness sake it doesn’t reach a 4. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is great. On a very sunny and hot day, the restaurant is naturally cooling. It’s clean and comfortable. So i appreciate the ambience. On to the food. It is our first time so we ordered a few dishes to sample. My main was wantan mee. It was reminiscent of my fav so that was a win for me. Only i did have to add on the soy sauce from my chopped chili to get those flavour notes. Next is the bihun kari. A win. No notes. It is very rich and generous with their kerang We took another main try that is nasi ayam. Very food court taste. I would give it a pass next time BUT their chilli accompaniment is the best. So a half win JUST for the chili. Oh but again generous with the chicken. Finally a hard pass. That is the yong tau foo. Just do not get them. So 2/4 is great and 1 is just okay hence 3.5 stars Sorry for the pictures. They are the aftermaths lol because i did not take a picture before wolfing down.
