Updated : Came again on 27th July 23. They have changed their concept. Their nasi lemak is still flavourful. However this time i feel that the the lobster is overpriced for the size(165RM). From 18-19 Jul 22 I went to 6 Nasi Lemak outlets in Selangor/KL areas to find out, in my personal opinion if the hype is true. In my personal opinion Nasi Lemak Krabster is one of the best. 1. The rice has depth of taste. The santan is fresh and generous. Using basmati rice, it is still fluffy and moist. 2. The sambal is savoury and have umami taste. However I feel there is too much onions. 3.The ayam berempah is well marinate and fresh chicken was used 4. The place is Clean. and have a chilled ambience. 5. Service is excellent Server was polite and all smiles 6. However it may be out of the way for some. Comparable Nasi Lemak Outlets : Nasi Lemak Village Restaurant.

Sorry to start with it’s not worth the money. The taste is not on par with the food presentation and money (again), but the restaurant is quite spacious and good ambiance for meeting with people. Plus, they serve the meat (I ordered fried squid) portion quite big, which they deserve a credit. Oh, their customer service is quite good too. Speaking about the taste, the nasi lemak tasted just like a regular white basmati rice. Basically, it tastes bland with no coconut milk. The fried squid is too salty and oily (this is expected for fried but please try to reduce it). The sambal is also salty and comes in a less portion. But tbh I was quite disappointed with the sambal taste cause I think it should be improved a lot. It’s a good place to chill but not to repeat.

Been here for their breakfast (same nasi lemak quality) and dinner nasi lemak seafood selection of lobster, crab and recently butter prawn. Worth the price if you want to splurge on good seafood + nasi lemak. The Nasi lemak is made with basmathi rice, served with crispy anchovies and savoury sambal (not spicy) and cucumbers. The waiter is always helpful to explain the menu and is happy to give extra cucumbers and sambal when asked. Will definitely come again to try other stuffs.

We had the keropok lekor, nasi lemak sotong and nasi lemak Boston lobster. Keropok lekor was hot and tasty with very nice chilli sauce. The sambal of the nasi lemak was very flavoursome- sweet with a hint of spicy. I liked how there was some larger pieces of caramelised onion in the sambal as it added even more texture and flavour. The nasi was fluffy, fragrant and tasty with coconut flavour. The sotong was well cooked- very soft and not at all chewy. It came in a batter that was light and fluffy. The lobster was also very good. It was a decent size with plenty of meat. The sauce was tasty and complimented the nasi lemak dish. Finally a shout out to the fried eggs which were also fluffy and not at all oily. Overall a really tasty dinner in nice open air environment with calming wood and lighting...
