Read moreDrove all the way here because of their Instagram posting. Cafe was very quaint indeed. Lovely place. Parking was OK because I parked along the street near the cafe. However, I found the staffs were probably one of the most unfriendliest lot I've come across. My friends and I were making small talks with the staff behind the counter and they totally ignored us.
The laksa Johor and cucur udang was good, but not worth my drive from Damansara as there are alot more options on that side of town.
After lunch we decided to have coffee and cakes. However, after 1.5hours there, we were asked to leave, as it was their covid SOPs. Which didn't make sense to me because if someone was a carrier, it would have spread the moment they entered the premise.
And no it wasnt a full house. We were the only people there.

Good food, lovely ambiance, reasonably priced , warm & friendly owner and staff. We (A grp of good friends) ate Roti Paung ( their signature dish) eaten with Serawa Durian & sambal tumis ikan bilis; ( soft & lovely) Cucur Udang ( nice & crispy ) , Laksa Johor ( sedapp sgt) , Roti Jala ( sedapp), And had creme brulee & pineapple jam tarts ( to die for!) as desserts. And hot tea served In beautiful cute teapots & cups.
Definitely a gem in Dato Keramat. ( bukit keramat to be exact) The owner herself is a muslim baker, and all the dishes & cakes hv been thoroughly thought of, & cooked with perfection.
