Lovely atmosphere... Brilliantly located restaurant nestled beautifully within the grounds of the entrance of the 99 East golf course with uninterrupted view of the sea. It is managed by a proffesional host/owner backed by a team of polite/attentive and efficient staff. Cleanliness is something you won't be disappointed with here as with the overall service. You can see the owner has put a lot of thought into the menu with high quality ingredients catering to a wide selection of diners. It has a good choice of vegetarian, vegan options clearly marked on the menu from starters to mains. Bearing in mind the food is home cooked ( there isnt a 20 page menu 🤔which is quite often a good sign) made from fresh ingredients and there is even a daily specials which brings you back for more 😁 Family friendly if you have children or toddlers as it has been laid out in such a way that you have a piece of mind when your little ones might want to "explore " as parents would normally experience. It has got tables for different group sizes as I noticed seems sensible for party size booking or special occasions I guess. Great length are made in the shop to sell/promote high quality local goods ethically sourced which is a fresh approach to a sustainable business model. Perhaps the only thing I would like to say is maybe the spice level could go up a few notch for the rendang tempeh dish.... But I might be biased here.. As I like'em hot 🔥 We enjoyed the overall experience and atmosphere here. We regularly visit the place and would recommend it to anyone with Western and local dishes made...

My angle friend runs a Vegan café (Niàn Café) and appreciates good food very much. Whenever I board the island, she'll reco me to try out those she has tasted and appreciated. She intro this place's specialties and told me it was a place she wanted me so much to come to and experience.
Parking under a tree on the free land and walking through a plant's wall to reach the reception of the restaurant. The table set around with couch lay against the left-side wall, very cozy and relaxing, even on a hot afternoon.
The whole place sits inside a very large field surrounded with greens and 🪴 They have a small garden to grow some plants they use for dishes or drink, a small pond and a pickaball field. Yup, you read me right, a pickaball field open to public for booking with rackets and ball at a very reasonable price.
The staff are casual and polite. We ordered the food, chatted and strolled around while waiting for the food to be served. There is a last order time frame for food but flexible on drinks. Their food is excellent and authentic. My angle told me this place is more lively at night. Will try to come again at night the next time I board the island.
Very thankful to my angle friend intro for a wonderful afternoon. I enjoy their accompany with the good food in...
Read moreWent here for my husband's birthday dinner when we were in langkawi last week. Found this restaurant via good and TripAdvisor recommendation. Indeed a good choice and you can't go wrong. Everything was great. Beautiful romantic setting, though cant see much of the golf course at night but the lighting and restaurant interior deco made the environment calming and romantic. Friendly staff and efficient service. Called and made reservation at very last minute but owner, Mrs Indi was such a sweetheart and accepted us for dinner and reserved a chocolate cake for birthday surprise for my husband. In fact, my 2 year old son was fast asleep at that hour, and she allowed him to sleep on a cozy sofa while we dine beside. Lastly, fat frog serves delicious food. We ordered grilled chicken with honey garlic sauce and vege, pasta arrabiata and tomato basil soup. Everything was so yummy and cooked with perfect flavouring. The surprise chocolate lava cake was equally delicious. As a whole, a great dining experience with food that satisfied our belly. Highly...
