FuYuan Seafood Restaurant 福圆海鲜饭店 — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

We came here tonight to celebrate my uncle’s birthday in a group of 10. I made a reservation for 6:30 PM and we arrived on time. We ordered six dishes right after being seated, but the waiting time was extremely long — more than half an hour — and I had to follow up twice before the food was finally served. I understand the restaurant was quite crowded, but the delay was still too long (i am a usual customer and i know that they usually serve very quick).

After finishing our meal, I requested for the birthday cake (which we brought ourselves) to be served. To my surprise, the young lady waitress in black shirt handed us the cake and some empty plates without even clearing the table first. The whole table was still full of used dishes, and when I asked her to clean it, she showed a black face and wiped the table so hard that our tea spilled.

To be fair, the food was nice and we did enjoy the dishes once they arrived. However, the poor service really spoiled what was supposed to be a happy family celebration. The restaurant is short of staff only 1 waitress, the food is so so.. the service depends on who you are, if you know them you will get good service, otherwise. Example: food for takeaway, recently they mention only use plastic bag , but recently i witness they also uses transperant lunch boxes for some guest. The atmosphere is simple, have tv but never on. I sum up that the management is trying ti save money. The table cloth they will change only if very dirty, otherwise they just wipe, they are alsi bias against some guest. I had dinner almost everyday last week at that restaurant but still receive lousy service.. they did not give me a lunch box for my take away.
