"HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY" Was here on 28/3/25 with 2 elderly regular customers of this restaurant. Both, my wife and I are new to Seremban and our elderly friend suggested this place for a Friday banana leaf meal.
Never knew that this restaurant's Supervisor or P.I.C. (A tall dark Indian guy) would take upper hand on us to swindle our RM30 for something we never ordered. My wife clearly remembered checking before ordering the mutton varuval. The guy attended to her informed that it's mutton and NOT a local goat. She is allergic to goat meat as such she made sure few times prior to placing an order. However during the bill settlement, the dark tall guy (P.I.C) charged us RM30 for the black hard to chew meat and claimed it was the local goat meat and that's the reason it's expensive. My wife informed that she made sure it's not a local goat meat and only ordered for ordinary mutton. Since we're with out elderly friends and not wanting to embarrasses anyone at that moment arguing about the bill as such we paid the total bill of RM130.50 for 3 Non-Vege meals and 1 Vegetarian meal. We were kept to wait for long to be served with rice although all 4 of us already seated for nearly 15min. Again we waited for long to get the curries. Our Tinggeri fish was under cooked yet they refused to refry it. Above the cheating in pricing, this restaurant is also lacking in services. Parking is hell here. PIC is a cheater, waiters are lazy buggers. Kindly be extra carefull when placing an order especially when it comes to mutton dish. P/s: My wife didn't have any stomach upset and this, once again proved that we were served with ordinary mutton and not a local goat meat.

There's just a lot to choose from as the food is cooked ahead and the service is excellent!👌🏼 Their speciality, Crab rasam, will be served upon seating and if you're allergic to shellfish, you can ask them for regular rasam. Just giving you a heads up about it since they won't say a word about it while serving the rasam, as most people would assume that crab is an irresistible delicacy. You can order a banana leaf meal to begin with and add more dishes to your liking. My friend and I usually order the Mutton Intestine pirathal, Chicken varuval and Tofu sambal with our banana leaf meals, which comes with 3 types of veg sides, appalam and different curry options. To wash it all down, I recommend the Iced Mooru (Spiced Yogurt drink) as it is refreshing and would cut out all the spice from the meal. Well, those are my favorites. There's a lot of other options. Do try out this place when you're around the area, you won't regret it! Low-key one of the best and affordable places to dine (it cost us only RM48 for everything I mentioned above). But it's somewhat difficult to find a table if you're planning to go after 1.30pm, since the place will be slammed with people for lunch. However it's not...
Read moreBehold. The stall may look very humble, but it is a gem for banana leaf in Seremban. We went on a Sunday afternoon, around 3pm. Crowd was manageable as it was after peak hours, but still the shop was about 80% full. Chicken briyani. I havent had such a good and tantalising briyani in ages. I despise the type of briyani where they cook the chicken together with the rice. Makes the chicken bland in taste. But their briyani is different. They have a different chicken cooked, sort of like ayam masak merah/ayam ros gravy, paired with the briyani rice. Plus the papadom and vege condiments, I must say, 10/10 taste. We also had one normal banana leaf set with kambing kampung. Normally, I avoid eating kambing because of the smell and texture. But I thoroughly enjoyed their kambing kampung varuval. Chopped into cube bite size, it was tender, very flavourful and overall damn delicious. After finishing our two main course, they also offer variety of dessert such as ladoo, kesari, vadai and many more. Our bill + 2 drinks + 2 dessert is UNDER RM50.
Highly highly...
