This CKT is REALLY OVERRATED.
Char kueh tiaw (CKT) dia biasa to my taste, telur pun xletak. Ordered CKT udang & kerang, udang ada 5-6, kerang got few which is still acceptable. Haruslah since harga dia pun RM7.50 each kalau xsilap.
Again, taste overall biasa je. You can easily find better CKT around at cheaper price.
Fish & chips, really?? Kesian kt my kids, they hardly finish it due to too hard fried crust. It was really overcooked which made me think they must be dipped in the flour again & refried it once customer ordered nak bagi garing. End up jadi sgt keras & the taste also salty.
Why i didn't complain? Read my comment on drinks.
As for drink, they dont provide plain water. But bottled drinking water instead. Ordered Limau Ais, and they send Limau asam boi. Reject it but they send it again. Reject it again, and they send it again. I simply feedback, this is asam boi ice, not Limau ais. Limau ais x ada asam boi kan. Then they took it and comeback with what we see as Limau ais.
BUT, when you taste it you really can taste the asam boi. Means what? they simply take out the asam boiiii. What a mindset.
Alright, not good taste CKT, poor fish & chips. Bad service on drinks.
The plus point eating here was just because they hv live band performing, fullstop.
I am pretty sad to leave such comment, but business is business. I pay you price you asked. But you should deliver the taste/service...
Read moreI had a great time at King's Char Kuey Teow, a restaurant located at a strategic spot near the beach and a busy junction in Port Dickson. The place has plenty of parking spaces, but they are a bit tight, so be careful when you park your car. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, but I decided to try their signature char kuey teow, a stir-fried rice noodle dish with seafood and meat. I ordered a large plate to share with my friends, and I was amazed by the generous portion and the variety of ingredients. The plate came with prawns, roast lamb, roast chicken, big fried squid, and more. It also came with a jar of fresh orange juice for free, which was a nice touch. The char kuey teow was delicious, with a nice balance of sweet, salty, and spicy flavors. The noodles were soft and chewy, and the seafood and meat were tender and juicy. However, I felt that the prawns and lamb could have been cooked a bit longer, as they were slightly underdone for my liking. Other than that, I enjoyed the dish very much. The restaurant also had a live band playing some music during dinner time, which added to the lively atmosphere. I did not use their washrooms or prayer rooms, so I cannot comment on those aspects. Overall, I had a great experience at King's Char Kuey Teow, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves...

Systematic order - We need to wait for awhile to be seated. A waitress show us our seat. She gave 2 types of menu. Red colour is for their signature food - Char Kuey Teow and yelloe one is western food. She wrote our order by using apps. If we want order the western food, she will buzz other waiter by using apps as well innorder take our order (western)
Prompt delivery - The food is served around 10 minutes for Char Kuey Teow. No mistake. The western took about 15 minutes and above.
How was the food? - I was damn hungry, so I eat all. Not disspointing for me. I order Char Kuey Teow with chicken Grill. The Chicken is tender. The Char Kuew Teow a little bit soggy. However, not a problem for me. I forgot the beverage name. But the flavour is pineapple + lychee + nata de coco. Less flavour but extra sweet. Not a go for me.
Pretty well ambiance for street restaurance - 2 option to be seated. Outside or under the roof. Have huge tree which is a plus point for natural decoration. A band and a clown was appointed to cheer all level of visitors.
Overall? As long as my stomach is full. No fussy waiter. Okay dah.. Plus, orang belanja. Tak perlu banyak...
