We went with hope because it seems that they know what they wanna do, ie "Hakka food". We all know Hakka Food is one of complicated cuisine with complicated steps & ingredients. So, anyone put a 'Bracket' and tell ppl they serve Hakka Food, they should know what they need to do.
However, none of the dish that we ordered, was either too bland/ not deep fried enough/ too starchy/ fermented mui choy is still smell woody and no fragrant of how a good mui choy supposed to be. We ended up paying RM122 and didn't finish the dishes simply because it is not really appetising. Plenty of outdoor seating - cross-ventilated with fans and air-cond plus a smaller covered indoor area. We sampled a few recommendations. Pork belly mustard green - not too salty, thick melt in your mouth cuts. Butter fried sotong and dry taufu - this had a tinge of peanut oil and was a little too sticky sweet for me. Paku belacan was also on the milder sweet over fiery savoury side. Puppy duck stew - your regular herbal dark hakka duck stew missing freshly ground peppercorn imho. Oyster wrapped fish paste in acallion oil - this was a unique hakka dish. Pork and fiah balls in soup - springy. In all, service was really quick. Street parking easy. Atmosphere breezy and laid back. What can i say. A simple, delish meal on a laid back weekday....

All the tables are appropriately spaced in between. It's very suitable for family dining here. The hakka food here were amazing. Even the local people dine here. It's a must try restaurant when you come to Titi. Just order the food with pictures they put on the interior signboard. They are really one of a kind. The doggy duck was great, very special. The fried sotong was good too, very different others' milky fried sotong. The shuang pan zi is also another must-try. The fishball soup was good as well, rich pepper taste. The food were served quite fast during our visit here. The staffs were friendly and attentive. Can ask the staffs to recommend if you have no idea...
