The Gift Tilapia Restaurant — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

This is a restaurant truly worth recommending — good reviews, of course! Located in a shop house within a residential neighborhood, it blends in perfectly with the laid-back, down-to-earth vibes of the area.

The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, the menu is clearly printed, and it's comfortably air-conditioned. Most importantly, the food is thoughtfully prepared(看得出是有用心煮的）

We ordered their signature dish, 狂烧鱼, and it was undoubtedly the best tilapia we've ever had — highly recommended! The 白切鸡 was definitely above average. The meat was tender and juicy, while the slightly yellow skin had a surprising crunch — even better than what you'd get at many well-known chicken rice stalls.

We also tried some of their other classic dishes like squid, clams, pork, and vegetables — all were equally delicious! And don’t forget the coconut jelly dessert — so good!

Despite a busy night with a full house, the dining experience was excellent. Kudos to the entire team — everyone was calm and composed, all wore face masks, and there was no loud shouting among staff, which really contributed to a peaceful and pleasant dining atmosphere.

Came here to try out a recommended fresh water pond tilapia restaurant, just as the name states. Ordered ginger steamed tilapia, sweet potato leaves and Thai style tofu.

Fish is really fresh and full of meat, I'm glad that they stayed true to their fame. Pretty much ate the whole thing from head to tail.

Sweet potato leaves is just nice with the "wok hei" and comes in good portion. Thai style tofu is probably not their specialty, will probably order some other tofu next time.

For a 2 pax dinner, I think it's better to go for the dinner set unless both have large appetite to try more dishes.

Average of 4 stars because we don't get to sit inside with air cond, and outside tends to get hot whole eating as there is no cooler fan around. Service and serving speed...
