Food is super good, not that spicy (I expect spicy but it was basic spicy, but still good!!) Ikan tenggiri goreng kunyit was super fresh!!! I love it. Patin was basic but the tempoyak gravy is nice- not overly sweet. Sambal belacan was perfect fit- it can give that extra kick you will need if lomak Cili api was not that spicy.our Drinks were cheap! I regret I should’ve gotten the asam pedas.
Ambiance was OK. Atap zink but since its under the tree so it wasnt that hot. I wish they could have made some effort and clean the fans- full of dust. If the fans were cleaner, I suspect the place can be more comfortable & cooler. Even the sink could be better.
Not sure if they have strict no smoke policy but I didnt see any folks openly smoking in the compound or outside of the compound so that’s a plus point. If there was, as always I will tell the owner to ask these folks to leave and smoke somewhere else.
Will definitely come here again if i have to travel down south...

Highly recommended. The food is great, definitely an interesting concept of dishes.
They served a fixed set of traditional malay dishes. The range is not too much but sufficiently varies.
Environment is a very traditional malay vibe.
Down side of it, opening time is only 11.30 am to 2.00 pm. Should open longer to the less peak our.
Due to the short operating hours & during peak lunch hours, the queue is too long.
I have to queue for 1 hour just to get seated. Another 30 minutes wait for the dishes to be served, as they served it hot and freshly cooked.
Apart from the long waiting time, everything else is satisfying.
I love their Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak, nicely cooked, the fish were clean nicely and no bad smell.
Their sotong goreng kunyit is also nice. The squid were well done fried but not hard at all.
Price is very affordable. Drinks...

The special about this place is that they cook upon order and serve in set of plates like kampung style. I couldn't describe well on the taste because it was my mistake that I took the "sambal" first to eat with rice but it was satisfying. I had some take outs for my friend and she said the masak lomak was tasty. Well, that explains why the long queue.
I was satisfied with the dining experience as well; big table with good spacing with other tables and customers.
They have their own parking area located a bit further behind their restaurant. Some customers just parked their cars at the roadside but bear in mind that the road is quite narrow, so park at...
