Gelora Steak House — Restaurant in Pahang

If you’re looking for an affordable steak, this steakhouse provides probably the cheapest price you could get. But do not expect the quality would be as same as the premium ones. But it’s still a good experience to try.

The portion is good, big with a lot of side dishes. Eg: I ordered a ribeye and got sides as in the picture. The meat is tough to cut, but not that tough to chew. Sides are okay. The blackpepper gravy is too runny but tastes kinda delicious. Really love the roasted potatoes tho.

Service a little bit slow as I ordered on 7.45 pm and received the food on 8.40 pm

Went to try this shop out as it was highly recommended by my colleague. Tbh I’d say it’s a little disappointing, maybe because I had expectations.

I have ordered chicken cordon blue and grilled chicken breast. As you can see in the picture and video, the batter is completely disintegrated with the chicken it was supposed to coat. Sauce is watery and runny, somewhat bland. The chicken itself is tasteless.

The ambiance is a typical diner/casual dining place, clean and comfortable. What really impressed me was the very friendly and efficient staff! I think the owner, himself, may have worked with us. The greeter was quick and accommodating, and the servers were very friendly. You get the feeling there are many regulars that eat here and the servers treat everyone like regulars, a true family restaurant feeling. We'll go back to this...
