Lemang To'Ki in Bentong, Pahang, is a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic Malaysian cuisine. Renowned for its lemang—glutinous rice cooked in bamboo over an open flame—the dish is celebrated for its soft texture and rich coconut milk flavor.

Accompanying the lemang, the beef and chicken rendang are highly recommended. The beef rendang, in particular, stands out for its tender meat and flavorful spices, perfectly complementing the lemang. Additionally, the grilled chicken is noted for its moist and juicy texture, making it a popular choice among patrons.

The restaurant's open-air, rustic setting adds to its charm, providing a breezy and comfortable dining experience. It's a favored spot among bikers and travelers, often bustling with visitors, especially during weekends. Despite the crowds, the service remains efficient, and the staff are friendly.

For those with a sweet tooth, the cendol—a traditional Malaysian dessert featuring shaved ice, green jelly, and palm sugar—is a delightful way to end your meal.

In summary, Lemang To'Ki offers a memorable dining experience with its delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and reasonable prices. It's a destination worth visiting for both locals and...

The famous Lemang To'ki live up to its name. Love the environment especially the setup of the creepers plant climbing up the roof, the rustic decorations and the open concept stall. It will be slightly warm during mid afternoon, so find yourself a good place with plenty of wall fan.

The restaurant itself located next to the busy Bentong to Kelantan road so, be prepared to park your car at the road side before the place during peak time.

The lemang itself is the main highlights and we love the texture of it (soft and no crusted outer layer), well balanced taste served with either beef or chicken rendang. It comes in set of 4 pieces lemang and rendang.I wish they can put a bit more portion for the rendang to fully enjoy the eating experience.

They have wide selection of food from variety of dishes to pair with rice, grilled lamb so it's suitable to visit in any time of the day. Highly recommended if you love lemang...

Glad that finally i able to stop by. Always think twice to had a quick stop because this place always pack. I had a quick bite before heading back to Shah Alam after sent some donation to few family that affected by flooded at Bentong. No to worried, goole maps will bring you to the correct exit if you came from east or south. Just do careful coz people tent to drive fast at this road. As for me, i came from 1st exit after Bentong toll, south bound. Just careful drive ya during this monsoon season. Heavy rain ❤️

Back to food. I love the rendang so very much. The lemang, of coz its signature dish there. Also got nasi berlauk if you want to fill up your happy tummy 😘😘 They also serve ketupat palas if you are ketupat lover. Ambience nice but since always pack, you probably can see people queue next to you for table sitting. But not to worry. Just...

Arrriving at this place, there was already a queue at the entrance. There is no sign showing what patrons should do. However, the queue is actually for those wanting to buy the lemang and rendang. Otherwise, one can just go into the seating area if one wants to eat the Nasi Campur or the other dishes. Everything is self-service here. The place is not well-maintained as there are many antiques just full of dust and placed on the make-shift shelves. It would have been better to do away with the old and antique things so that the place can look clean and well positioned. Fortunately, the lemang is just great with all the right taste. I had 2 helpings of the lemang and was totally satisfied. However. I had a much better dining in experience at the Lemang To' Ki 2, as it is much smaller and convenient. Unfortunately, that place is closed, temporarily.
