Sri Suria Curry House Restaurant — Restaurant in Pahang

Great food and fast service BUT the guy at the cashier is rude and certainly need some customer service skill. We ordered 1 roti canai, 1 thosai, 1 set idli (comes with 2) and Nasi Lemak Ayam, vadais and drinks. Because there are no more vadais, the waiter brought 1 currypuff for us instead. When we were about to pay we let him know what we had including the currypuff.

Then the cashier mentioned 3 idlis and I said no only 2. Then he said ‘I saw just now the waiter brought another one’. Then I told him again ‘no, only 2 idlis and 1 curry puff’. This repeated 3 times.

He eventually asked the waiter and the waiter confirmed what we said. Without any apology, he asked us ‘you angry?’ And we said ‘yes we are because you accused us of lying without getting your facts right’. He had the audacity to say ‘oh you’re angry, okay you can go. I saw he (referring to his own waiter) bring the idli to you’ (still insisting he is right!)

If you’re the owner, shame on you for not even trusting your own waiter. Just because you saw your waiter was holding a plate and stopped at our table doesn’t mean we took it and then try to scammed you off with an idli. If you’re a worker, I hope the owner can train this person some...

I don’t normally give bad reviews to any place. But this place is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Not because of their food, the food is mediocre and they even got our order wrong. But that is not even worth this bad review. That is not even a problem, This review is because of their basic manners and common sense that the workers lack. We had a slight argument happening at our table among ourselves and the rude and shameless staffs all stood nearby the table and listened in on our conversation. They didn’t even try to hide it they were straight up just shamelessly standing there and listening in. Rude and disrespectful. They don’t even have the basic decency to give their own customers their privacy. I’ve never seen any other restaurant do this. They weren’t even discreet and were loitering around our table especially this one guy who stood directly at the side of table and kept snickering. Please train your staff on basic bare minimum common sense on how to respect your customer’s privacy and don’t go snooping around your customers table to listen to their conversation. We stay 3 days kuantan for vacation... Try many Chinese food restaurants here but we cannot find Indian restaurant not much. Finally we found this shop we ordered meals and mutton briyani and Nasi Goreng cina when owner take order he clearly mentioned food will be delay because of many customers. We agree that and served food after few minutes. Really the briyani very nice. Bru coffee also original. (Some of selling nescafe as a bru) after that one of my family member call us ask to buy food. After finish we request them to pack 1 briyani they clearly said cannot 🙄🙄🙄.. one briyani is not a big deal rite to pack. We agree too rush but owner seems not ready to give. After paid we go nearby kemaman KOPITIAM buy Chinese food there.. Sorry we are not blaming you guys.. Really...
