Becoming the first customer in the new location, Pantai Batu Hitam Kuantan (Black stone beach). Love the new atmosphere, whereas you can see the beach view from the restaurant. At first, my friend and I quite confuse where the enter of the restaurant. I guess, the restaurant needs to put big or visible ENTER signboards and a restaurant signboards so the customer can see them when they’re driving (I get confuse with another event banner signboard 😅). Luckily, there’s a waiter I guess, greet us from far and saying it’s open now.
The menu seems quite interesting. I get interested with the pizza menu and asked the waitress what’s the ingredients. The waitress need to ask the chef about the ingredients, but unluckily the oven was under maintenance. So we continue order other menu. I guess it’s the best if the menu have already written what’s the ingredients inside the dishes (it’s easier for some people who have illness that need to avoid certain ingredients, it’s up to the restaurant actually but this is the best for many types of people and the staff, so they don’t have to go asked the chef about the ingredients of each menu)
We ordered lamb grill, spaghetti aglio olio chicken grill and nachos with salsa sauce. Lamb grill is good and full of spices. I can taste the black pepper from the marinade and the sauce are not heavy which is great combination. The coleslaw is the best. Lamb grill 8/10 ( the lamb a little bit chewy but it’s still great) Funny how the waitress unintentionally gives me some knife instead of steak knife, I was having a laugh as I figure out why it’s so hard to cut the meat 😂. The pasta is good too and the chicken grill is juicy but not oily 9/10. The Nachos and the salsa sauce are excellent 👌🏻. I’m not fond of tomato but this salsa, I love it! 10/10!!
The view and atmosphere are 9/10. Really good for healing and food hunting place! It gives me a little bit westerners style.
Overall for the new restaurant I give a 8/10. The food was delicious and excellent presentation. The beach view is astonishing and breathtaking as we can enjoy the food and view at the same time. The staffs are quite friendly. Just need to put big restaurant signboards so people wouldn’t miss this marvellous restaurant and the waitress need to update with the chef which food is available before presenting the menu to the customers and please alert with the knife before giving them to the customers (or not they would be like me having a hard time using some knife cutting a meat 😂😂😂) no hard feeling, I will bring my companions in future to this great...
Read moreHad dinner with my family here and was recommended by a colleague. The decor was good and has like garden theme. Since it was recommended by a friend, I had quite high expectation for the services there. But when we first arrived, a waitress was shouting to us from afar. We wanted to sit at a table with nice fairy lights, but she was shouting not allowing us to sit there (instead of guiding us to the table). 🤷🏻♀️ I dont mind if she talked to us nicely that the table is only for two people, but the fact that she was shouting from the counter and was looking at her phone while we were confused where to sit- That was unprofessional. Regardless, the next waitress who assisted us with the food was nice and polite. Kudos to her and another boy (sending us drinks). The other staff were just laughing and honestly did not seem like working.
Review of the other components-
🥘🍝The food was fair- not too bad. 👍🏼 Lamb chop was okay. Plating was nice and seemed like eating at a hotel.
✨🌚Ambience- quite good. Mostly outdoor seating- you can enjoy the night breeze. But I had quite a few mosquito bites after siting there for one hour.
Verdict: Fair restaurant with okay food. Some of the staff are okay, but we encountered rude one even before we were seated (so that was a bummer). Would recommend to try this once if you’re around Kuantan, but to say that I’ll be back eating here...

Service were late. We only ordered Sotong celup tepung, cucur udang and keropok lekor. But the food arrived after an hour and we had to cancel our cucur udang because the waiter ask an extra 20 mins for it because they have to make new batch. We end up with sotong celup tepung and keropok lekor only. The food was not so great, sotong celup tepung taste more like sotong goreng kunyit. Our drinks arrived last when we almost finish our food.
Second, sotong celup tepung was overpriced. When we ordered, the menu stated sotong celup tepung is for RM25 but the bill suddenly became RM30 (due to bigger size) which I felt so unsatisfied and unfair (adding from taste was so so) that we don't get notified earlier of the price change.
Third, food was so so.
We left the restaurant feeling dissatisfied,...
