A surprising find in the town of Nibong Tebal. We came here for the fireflies but we were also enthralled by the delicious food. The boat ride to watch the fireflies was about 20 minutes down the Kerian River. Later I realized the boatman was the cafe owner, a friendly Chinese man in his late 50s. We took the boat ride first before ordering our dinner. Since it was almost full moon, we saw only a few fireflies in the berembang trees but it was magical nonetheless. The air was cool and refreshing. Life jackets are provided for the boat ride (RM60 per boat ride). By the time we reached the jetty which is next to the cafe, we were hungry. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Inagine KL quality with Nibong Tebal prices. We had the salted egg gravy over chicken chop, seafood pasta and a fluffy omelette stuffed with mushrooms. For dessert we tried the almond tiramisu (cake was dry) but the black forest chocolate cake was to die for! Unfortunately we gobbled the cake slice only to realize we forgot to snap a pic. Only major disappointment was the toilet. The cafe was nicely decorated but the toilet was too basic like some toilet in a local kopitiam. It should have been refurbished too to reflect the cafe ambience.

Just beside the pier of pone of two fire fly sight seeing boat. The two story building offer a eastern infused western food. The ambience and view is really nice during sun set time. Many tourist would eat here before boarding their boat to see the firefly. The lower level is air conditioner while the upper level is open air. (Mind it there some season there are a lot of mosquitos) The food are fairly good but I've only giving a 3 for i think the drinks still got a lot of space for improvement.

A cafe whereby if you don’t look for it, you might not even know it existed. Food quality and price definitely good. The chef/manager definitely knows how to priotised the order despite there’s an exceptionally huge group of guests(20 pax) which could easily delay your order. But it did not happen, we received our food orders fast as well without much of a wait. Kudos to the staffs. Would come here again next time when there’s not a huge guests in the restaurant. OK coffee but not bad food !

Great place to have dinner at night. Nice for dates or just regular hangouts, lower floor is closed and air conditioned, while on top it is open and has a complete view of the river. Very chill view at night.

Absolutely beautiful ambiance along with very delicious food. 8PM dinner time isn't usually packed as well as it's quite remote away from town. However, it does have enough seating to accommodate a rush.

Service is a great and fast too. Prices and menu are equivalent of that to Secret Recipe but this is a dozen times more delicious and worth it compared to SR.
