Superb service and very pleasant staff. That's all i can say. Went here with my sister for dinner. When both of us walk in, the first thing we ask at the waiter who greet us at the door is "Kat sini sedap tak?". 🤣 The waiter smiled with a nod and usher us to a table of two. We took a look at the menu. The waiter was attentive and at the same time filling our glasses with warm water. My sister went and order a medium rare ribeye steak and I was going to order plain old char hor fun when the waiter prompt me that there's a page of new dish on the menu that he truly recommends. I took a look, saw the Herb Crusted Fish and straightaway changed my order. He patiently explain that it's fish baked in cilantro and olive oil. Because of that, i asked again, "Sedap tak?". At this he confidently say, this one sedap because I personally tasted the dish. You know what, it was truly delicious. Truly recommend anyone looking for a nice restaurant that is not so expensive, great ambience and really kind, cheerful staff. Price as following: Just table deco: rm30 Just board deco: rm50 Table & board deco: rm70 which include meals You can order through wassap beforehand or order there which will take a while. Overall experience, great customer service. Food is ok. But i do order some ala carte menu for myself. My favorite food are Ying Yong Hor Fun & Nasi Goreng Kook with additional sambal belacan. Their best drinks which i usually would love to order everytime is salted caramel latte, you may need to ask them to cut down on the caramel syrup as it can be too sweet and the kids love vanilla lemon milkshake. My honest opinion on Kook is this, the food taste good sometimes but sometimes it’s just ok not great. I think this is just depend during the peak hours during lunch time or after lunch time. So maybe try to avoid going during peak hours. As the food quality will be better during non peak hours. Good ambience, friendly people. I'd cut some slack on the messy menu since the food i had were good. Had chicken chop and nasi putih daging merah set for our lunch. The chicken chop was fair. But daging merah was so tender, you don't need to struggle chewing. Love that. My creme brulee came too early, before my main course so i had it a bit later. I wonder if it need to be told that dessert comes later, or do i have to personally request that.

They are cashless friendly so you can use qrpay duitnow or cards. Nevertheless, the cashier (cum owner?) took our points with open mind. (That is a good sign i tell you!)

I wish the desserts (other than creme brulee) were mentioned in the menu, because i saw how good they look. Maybe next time!

Update : ordered more food on my next visit. The service has gotten a lot better! Had aglio olio, sweet sour chicken with rice, seafood chowder, and 2 mouthwatering desserts....
