NOT RECOMMENDED AND HIGHLY ADVISE TO AVOID. Price is Worse than KL. Good taste / value? NO. Price listed for some items, not all. (Refer photo attached) Loh mai kai rm5 - small and very average taste. Siu mai - rm5/2pc - pork based and sa kok, normal ok Fish ball - rm10 for 4 pcs ( 1 mouthful per piece, gauge yourself) even if it’s full fish paste also not worthy, nothing special Small char siew pau- rm3, thick skin, minimal char siew , taste ok but can find better ones easily in kl. not worth dropping by for. tea 0.7 Tofu rm5/2pc ( super small, taste ok, nothing special)
Read the reviews online with some stating it’s over price and some stating it’s reasonable. Decided to drop by and give it a try still. Ordered carefully as worried of price. Saw the bowl with 4 small fish ball and thought perhaps they made it small hence 4 pieces (instead of 2) for for rm5 (stated price) , but no, CRAZILY priced.
No matter even if it’s stated with charcoal taste or not it’s not worth the price with the taste. For the minimal vague possibly charcoal taste? Save it. I’ll think it’s acceptable still if the taste is at least superb, but no.
Price for value - TERRIBLE.
Size - small Taste - nothing special Price - TErrible value Dry mouth after taste
Costed us rm28.5 for 2 pax and leave feeling hungry still and feeling absurd. Quality definitely NOT up to standard of price.
Overrrated. Tourist or locals on road trip, advise to AVOID quick stop here even. I’ll give negative review...

Love their charsiu & sangyok bao. Their charsiu bao is savory, not too sweet & meat has a very nice charred & smokey flavor
If I am ever nearby, I will try to drop by. Its a simple small town kopitiam with ready cooked dishes, order to cook, homemade dimsum. Simple & old school. It's the old small town ambiance which I like. This is an awesome old school family run restaurant. The food is simple and typically home cooked styled. They have fantastic soup of the day, noodles and home made kaya too. A worthwhile visit if you are around the vicinity. Prices are...
Read moreThis shop was introduced by a food hawker nearby. Its an old style coffee shop. Many varieties of bao and dim sum available. Chef was very friendly. Bao was nice with generous fillings. A good place for local to have dim sum but price was steep though. At 11am, customers started filling up the place for brunch. There was economy rice available too with limited choices of food. Guess this shop is not only popular for dim sum breakfast. A great pit stop if you are driving on the North...
