Fook Seng Restaurant, conveniently located near the Slim River toll, is a fantastic spot for seafood lovers. We were blown away by the freshness of their dishes and the reasonable prices.
Our standout dish was the claypot fish. It was absolutely delicious – the fish was incredibly fresh with minimal bones, and the flavors were simply divine. We also enjoyed the kailan stir-fry with pork belly, which was perfectly cooked with a delightful wok hei. And let's not forget the fried koyo teow, loaded with that irresistible wok hei flavor.
For all three dishes, we only paid RM60, which is incredibly reasonable for such high-quality seafood. To top it off, the staff were friendly and attentive.

The owner just introduced some signature dishes. The claypot cat fish had a lovely citrus peels taste in the sauce. A first for me. Fish was fresh. The rest of the dishes tasted average. Steamed yam with pork belly was not the 'melt in the mouth' version; stir fried ferns veg was a bit overfried and tofu with minced pork was just normal.
