Magical Burgermania and Gold Lava with A Touch of Savoury!
Burgers and Fried "Nian Gao", are an unique local delicacy and one of the most popular foods in Malaysia. Both food need abit of skills in order to make it perfect.
Both "Eat Meat Slim" and "Fried Nian Gao" stalls are located at Restoran Four Season, which is located opposite of Public Bank (Bercham). Both owners are very friendly and humble. They serves really, really good burgers and nian gao, and make them affordable.
Burgers are great, and porky burgers are magic. Gourmet burgers with juicy homemade patty sandwiched in between two fluffy buns, and complete with a drizzle of signature sauce. Ground pork between your teeth, heaven between two buns, you will find it hamburgled your heart. Love this savory, tasty burger. They’re deliciously lip-smacking. Burgerlicious!
These crispy Fried Rice Cake fritters are sandwiched with slices of taro and sweet potato and the Nian Gao. Simply dip the sandwiched nian gao in a batter, then carefully dip into hot oil and deep fry to golden brown perfection.
The humble guy and his team produce the cake the artisanal way, without additives or colouring. The fact that they make it all almost uniform in size and shape – and they do this manually by hand – wins further respect.
Eating experience. Bite into one of the fried gold cakes when it is still warm and molten gold lava oozes out. That is a gourmet moment when everything comes together: melting lava, fluffy taro, light and airy crispy batter, with a touch of savoury.
The gold cake is not too sweet and the batter is light with no apparent greasiness. It is as perfect as this cake can be, in my opinion.
They also selling Crispy Fried Banana, Crispy Fried Taro, Crispy Fried Sweet Potato and Potato Balls.
If you deem yourself a pork burger lover and if you looking for some magical lava bite experience, this is one place that you may not want to miss out on.
