This stall is a rare gem tucked away from Ipoh city centre, and it's a pure smooth delight. I've been wanting to try the silky smooth tau fu fa they got to offer, and I'm super happy to say out loud that this is the B-E-S-T-E-S-T tau fu fa ever!!!
Ambience : ☆☆☆☆☆ The simplicity brings back my childhood memories, having to indulge in this smooth silky beancurd in the back alley of Petaling Street. I love how they decided to go ahead with the old school look and maintain the authenticity, local culture, and atmosphere.
Texture & Flavour : ☆☆☆☆☆ It offers a variety of tau fu fa to cater for different preferences. From the classic plain with white sugar to the red bean or peanut topping tau fu fa to glutinous ball + tau fu fah. The texture is so smooth and feels like it's melting in your mouth like clouds. Also not forgetting an array of soya bean drinks.
Presentation : ☆☆☆☆ Love how they maintain the presentation simple and yet keep the traditional part of it. The silken beancurd is scooped gently and placed into a bowl with chinese designs and drizzled with your choice of syrup and toppings.
Service : ☆☆☆☆ This stall is self-service. They are always ready to take your order and their service is prompt. There are a few tables and chairs placed for us to enjoy our warm desserts.
Value for Money : ☆☆☆☆☆ The cheapest tau fu fa and soya bean drink I've...
Read moreWoong Kee Bean Curd in Bercham, Ipoh, truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best spots for tau foo fa. What I love most is that it’s served warm, which really enhances the experience and brings out its natural softness. They also offer a variety of syrups like ginger, black sugar, and osmanthus, plus toppings such as grass jelly, peanuts, and glutinous rice balls that add a nice twist. Despite the steady crowd, service is fast and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. The setup is simple and unpretentious, but the flavors speak for themselves. Definitely a must-try if you’re in Ipoh and looking for an authentic,...

The Tau Foo Far (Soya Bean Curd) was curdled to perfection. It was smooth and ver soft. You will not see a granules from the soya extract with the naked eye.
Softer than soft, it melts in the mouth and we can then relish in its light creamy and rich texture. Refreshing and invigorating, I had 2 bowls. It comes in black/brown sugar or white sugar with ginger or you can make your request for reduced or zero sweet.
I also got hold of a 1.5L of their black (green) soya milk. Lovely, rich...
