This vegetarian restaurant has been one of my to-try-list for quite some time but it is quite far away from Ampang 😅, bersempena Wesak Day I plan to visit Tropicana City Mall in the noon and then take my dinner here.
Going into the restaurant, it does give a good humble vibe but eventhough it has fans and aircon in it, it does still feel slightly hot...not really sure why haha
We are served with the menu and proceed to order via scanning the QR code on the table.
First of all the recommended drink in the menu would be the Signature Lemonrange juice (rm6.80), i think it is a combination of lemon, orange, ginger powder and etc. It does taste refreshing and healthy.
When come to the main dishes, it served as a set together with small platter of edamame and fruits (watermelon & honeydew). My gf ordered Signature Jiro Ramen (rm19.80), first glance it does look good and with remarkable portion. The broth taste very unique like mild version of satay peanut sauce, with the mixture of sesame oil which surprisingly blend in well! It comes with a perfect soft boiled egg, bunch of vegetable (cabbage and bean sprout aka tauge) and lion mane mushroom (good texture)! All come together cohesively and each bite doesn't feel boring or jelat ;)
Secondly for my main dish, pandan nasi lemak + rendang lion mane mushroom (rm16.80). At first look, it looks like MEHHH so boring and normal....but once I tried their sambal and rendang....gosh..i'm being humbled by how good it is despite the ingredients are all vegetarian...not sure what kind of magic they use LOL, it easily wins over many of those that made and seasoned with presence of meat!!! Kudos to STG chef haha, it taste so good that I feel I need to add on rice to pair with all these godness T.T
Staff is attentive and do provide condiments like cili padi upon request.
Towards the end of our meal, we decided to try their cendol (rm8.80) which doesn't dissapoint as well! Taste rich with gula melaka and they are not stingy with all the other main pairing ingredients too.
Recommended for sure!! Will revisit again to try their other dishes especially the recommended one haha. If you wish to enjoy good vegetarian food without breaking the bank, just come...
Read moreBlown away by the quality of food here and simply just how nice the restaurant is. Very cozy, cute floral decorations, and in general great vibes for casual decent meal.
The ramen is great. The vegetarian tonkotsu broth is rich and creamy- mildly sweet due to the corn. But definitely hits the right spot! Noodles are a little on the soft side but that’s how I like it so I definitely enjoyed the whole dish. Hard to believe that the soup is vegetarian!! Everything on the menu can be done vegetarian (with/without garlic and onions) or vegan (without egg).
Portions were generous, each meal included a small side dish and some fruits, which were very appreciated. An extremely satisfying meal, and especially at its price point! Will definitely return.
2 mains (1 ramen, 1 Nasi lemak) + 1 side + 1 drink came out to be RM50++ which is really reasonable for the...
Read moreImma happy girl after eating their panmee soup..I am foodie who has been avoiding seafood /anchovies and is a panmee lover. My recent change in diet due to my skin condition has made it tough for me.
Thanks for giving me the same satisfaction or even more that I get from a traditional non veg panmee.
Besides the pan mee soup, I recommend their stuffed fuchuk. It tasted pretty similar like the non veg version.
The jiro ramen was very overwhelming with the amount of noodle, bean sprouts and cabbage. I couldn't finish it:( pan mee was more suited to me. The tonkatsu ramen wasn't too bad, portion is much smaller...
